I recently had the immense pleasure of dining at Swenson's and I cannot rave enough about the incredible service provided by one of their employees, Troy. From the moment we walked in the door, his warm, welcoming demeanor and genuine enthusiasm made us feel right at home.

Throughout our meal, Troy was attentive, engaging, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure that we were having the best dining experience possible. I was particularly impressed by his extensive knowledge of the menu, as he was able to provide insightful recommendations based on our preferences. I hadn't heard of this place before so we decided to see what they were all about and WOW, what a great find! 🤩 I was a bit confused at first on the whole ordering process and how everything worked but there are signs that give you instructions on how to order. After you park, you turn on your headlights and someone will come running up to your window. 🏃🏻‍♂️ I told the car hop boy that we had never been to Swensons before so he kindly gave us a rundown of the menu. There were four of us in my car and we honestly ordered so much food lol Our total plus tip was like $66. 😂 Side note: Swensons likes to only have one card transaction per car, so be prepared to Venmo or CashApp your share of the bill to whoever pays! 💸 We had to wait about 20 minutes for our food which wasn't too bad since we practically ordered one of everything. After we started eating, my friend wanted to order another drink so I turned on my headlights and the car hop boy appeared again within no time. 🥤 Overall, the quality of the food was very good! My chicken sammich was flavorful and not too messy and the fries had just the right amount of crunch and not too much salt. 👌🏻🍟 My fiance said his triple cheeseburger was very tasty and it wasn't sloppy like some places. 🍔 Also, the onion rings were so good! The batter held together nicely and was crunchy and the onions weren't stringy or slimey. The strawberry milkshake tasted just like strawberry milk but in milkshake form. 😍🍓 My fiance had the PB&J milkshake and it really did taste like a PB&J! 🍇 I can't wait to come here again and I would love to try some of the dessert options. 😋

P.S. I saw some people even bring lawn chairs here and hangout in the parking lot lol So I guess you can eat in your car, in the parking lot, at a picnic table, or...

Typically we have an outstanding experience here, so I decided to bring my family. Today, my patty melt came out with no patty. I sent it back and my family FINISHED their entire meal before mine came out. The time on the receipt of our food (when everyone else got theirs) was 7:08 and I finally received my food at 7:38. It was wrong! I literally ordered a grilled cheese with a patty and then received a grilled cheese with 2 patties and bbq sauce. Like how hard is it to listen to directions.

Tonight’s wait was very long initially, and our food still came out incorrectly? The response from the team from all working this evening has been lackluster and 0 sense of urgency. We are here almost weekly and this is the WORST service I have ever had. Friday 10/18/2024. Absolutely disappointing. I sat here and wrote this entire review while waiting for my food. It’s now 7:36. Outrageous. We ended up not paying for our meal for our horrible experience. I’m just shocked honestly. This is such an abnormal experience. Please fix the kitchen - we were told that was part of the issue!

We went back again and the chicken nuggets were different and no where near as good quality as their previous recipe. We were told they weren’t sure if they’d go back. Today we went back and after waiting 10minutes to be greeted, were told they will not be going back to the old (and FAR SUPERIOR) ones. We frequented this place weekly since opening and won’t be back.
