The past few visits haven't been as well as what I've been accustomed to. The drive-thru has become really slow and for some reason I have to ask for my receipt - EVERYTIME, in spite of the sign on the window telling you to check that you received your receipt. Yesterday I actually had to ask the young man running the drive-thru, "Why is it that I need to ask for my receipt every day?, Isn't it policy to give customers their receipt?" He looked at me like a deer in headlights and responded, "I don't know, I'm still new." Seriously!? I could be wrong, but I'm not aware of any merchants that don't offer a receipt for purchased goods...of any kind. The Hamlton Rd. location really needs to focus on customer service training.
Update 1/18/19 - I took a break from this location but HAD to stop in today. I again had to ASK for my receipt, however this cashier thought it was appropriate to 'huff at me' with an attitude because I asked for my receipt. Unbelievable!!!! Well I did actually attempt to call the establishment, but they don't answer the phone and the voice mail box isn't set up either.
Update 3/8/19 - I give up!!! I didn't think it could get worse, but any day that I've stopped for a breakfast sandwich I've consistently had to ask for the receipt for my purchase. The final straw...??? was the day when my sandwich was handed out the window in the wrapper only - no bag, no napkins, (& of course no receipt!) I never thought I'd need to ask for a BAG for my food in the drive-thru. What I got was a condiment bag - the kind normally used for your sugar, stirrers, etc. The sandwich was bigger...
Read moreThis place was different pre-pandemic. So, I am taking into consideration the stress that COVID has caused many businesses (staff shortages, supply chain issues, etc.).
With that being said I am genuinely suprised that this location is still open especially since a new Starbucks has recently opened across the street (and Starbucks is always busy and open late). I stopped today at about 5:00 PM (which is the first time I have stopped in several weeks) and was told by a crew person outside that they were closed. The lights were on and Google says they are open until 7 and other locations in Columbus are also open until 7 (at least), but whatever.
The problem is that this is not the first time I have been told that they were closed when it appeared that they should be open. In fact, the last few times I have stopped I have been told by staff that they are closed. One time I was told at 3:00 that they were closed. I have also experienced waiting in the drive through in the middle of the day for several minutes and nobody responding.
And the lobby is always closed.
I don't know what management is doing. Maybe they are just that short staffed. Maybe they aren't getting enough business to have regular hours. It is just odd to me that this one location seems to struggle more than the others...

The new management is extremely rude! Idk who hired new lady but she and new staff needs new training and to work on her attitude because no one told her to work here!! I’m extremely upset and frustrated by my experience. My eggs were green, coffee was warm, sausage looked well undercooked I couldn’t eat it! Lady got mad when I asked for refund then told me she could remake it with a smart ass attitude wtf!!???? Why would I want another sandwich with same meat!? What happened to all the old managers and supervisors!!!?? What is corporates number???!! I will be reporting because this is out of hand and it’s been happening for the past week now and no one seems to try to fix anything it’s getting absolutely worse! Shame on you
