Would give zero stars if possible. DO NOT EAT HERE. The service is absolutely worse i have experienced anywhere. I gave it one more try yesterday could not pay me to go here. not first issue but About a month ago I order a tofu dish( i am vegan) after driving ten min home it was all chicken. So called back in they didn't even remake it til i got back took 20 minutes and they DID NOTHING to make it right, not even an apology. So yesterday buckeye Asian express was closed ( GO HERE) so i decided to give it another chance. The register person is terrible took him 10 min to figure out how to enter the order. The dishes on menu have tofu they charged me extra andd charged for a small cup of hot oil thats free everywhere else.Im never one to try to get anything free. They will argue with you, which should I call in and start by saying i am NOT trying to get anything free just want to talk to the manager about horrible customer service. He doesn't speak English so i told them my issues to repeat to him they literally said "WE do not care". If you want terrible service and over priced food that taste like piss this is your place! Any good review here is from years ago and they put fake...
Read moreGreat variety of food. Great quality of veggies. It's nice being able to choose between a couple of quality, staple teas (Oolong, Pu-er, Jasmine, and green), but I was hoping for a little more variety, maybe with a couple more scented teas or something of that nature (anything a little special or dear to the heart of the owner?). Also, if there were more tea options, I wouldn't mind a little price disparity for some higher end teas or blends. Still more than satisfied; it's uncommon to find an actual restaurant that serves more than one or maybe two teas. One thing I saw in other reviews: compared to most restaurants, the fried rice is a little plain, but honestly, fried rice (unless you're talking about paella or something) isn't supposed to be the entree; it's a side for the main dish. The ingredients are very fresh, and you can tell. When my grandparents and I came in, a woman was cutting the ends of fresh green beans...my mom and I snapped beans together when I was little, so I almost asked if I could help. XD I actually already have plans to come back with a friend from work within...
Read moreBeen going to this place for a little over a year and the food is great. However, the last time I was there i was given a rude awakening by the young lady who usually works there in the early afternoon. Long story short, I came during a regular business day to get daily the lunch special and she told me that they were only dinner. I'm a regular customer at this place and they easily could have made an exception. But they didn't and in many ways forced to leave. It was an extremely shameful and humiliating experience and it made me feel that much more unwelcome. What I have also noticed is how this young lady treats black customers and level of caution she uses in dealing with them. She doesn't that any of the white customers and she always gives them a warm greeting. I say this because I know for a fact that racism plays a huge part in how she views black customers. It's an intuitive feeling to know when you are not welcome in an establishment, and that's very much the case with Ying's Teahouse &...
