Its obvious on the reviews that your manager or whomever is leading the store does not care about the community or customers he/she serves. Shame on the attitude of your employees, I think they could use a sensing session with the owners and corporate leaders at Jets Pizza. I will say this before I issue my story, that the same gentlemen raising concern with the same guy driving the Ford his complaint is valid. Might not be the same but it wasn't maybe less than a month that I encountered a Jets driver coming off Union Lake and pulled out in front of me. Then NO turn signal at either Union Lake onto Cooley Lake nor into the drive going to the store. Next time likely someone will hit them, I hope not. My visit on 09/19/2025 at 21:39:55. Sometimes I forget but maybe if your store employee by the name of Anthony H would be happy to offer a better experience they would: 1) Offer a crust flavor, again I forgot but apparently my self being the only customer he was too busy because 2) He and the female employee were in the back for 10 plus minutes and as I watched as my pizza came out of the over and just sat there for 6 minutes-yes, no exaggeration, she finally came out and cut and boxed the pizza. 3) Disgustingly, the cutting utensil she cut the pizza into was laden with what leftover pizza junk and contaminated food she used to likely cut more pizzas never thinking to wash the utensil or use other clean ones-"the store only has one"? In any event the crap and left over food particles from the non-clean/non-washed cutting tool from other pizzas cross contaminated and embedded into my pizza so I got more than I bargained for with a nasty taste and nasty smell of garlic permeating the pizza. Is she too lazy to clean-likely so as NOTHING is covering up any of your toppings in the corner and more than likely causing bacteria to grow over and over and over again. Is it too hard to cover the toppings, especially if you're in the back messing around and not cleaning while you could!!! 4) Pizza was burnt terribly and presented with a terrible taste. Why do you have to burn it when I never told Anthony to do so. 5). When I mentioned the pizza had just sat there for 6 minutes while they were in the back, his response was a sarcastic "sorry", not even close to being sincere like more of a "get bent" type response. I see in the reviews where this attitude is quite common here, thereby my comments in the beginning. So I did give a tip and sadly so but maybe it wasn't the tip they were seeking. I ended up throwing most of the pizza out, it was not edible and ultimately made me ill as I had nothing since the previous day. Maybe the garlic from the unclean cutting tool? But I will not frequent a store that conducts their business this way and there is a Dolly's right next door where I have had their product in the past and much better service and attitudes. Jets Corporate, I hope you take this message, I don't it isn't going to hurt your business but maybe you'll be concerned about every customer that patronizes your store. The photos are for a Double Mushroom/Double Cheese. Notice the left photo with a burnt edge covering about 1/4 of the slice; multiple cheese bubbles-the right photo is not too clear but whoever made that pizza.....failed the art of pizza making. Detroit style pizza belongs to others in Detroit...not this location. Finally, why am I tipping on the pizza and the tax, I have started to notice they add in the tax which increases their tip suggestions. Don't mind the products but paying tip on taxes just doesn't sound right. Not Jets fault, just raising...
Read moreWanted to order pizza for the big game Sunday so I called jets I live about 5 minutes away from There so I made the call and the gentleman on the phone began talking to me about what a horrible day he’s having so I say ok well I would like a deep dish pizza please n he tells me it’ll be a little over a hour cause it’s busy which I totally understood after making my order and hanging up 2 hours and 40 minutes go by and I still have no pizza so I decide to call and make sure everything’s alright the women who answered the call which took me two attempts to try n get someone to answer finally answers and says “oh your food still hasn’t been made yet it’s really busy” I say well will it be here soon the games basically over at this point and her response was “well would you like me to just cancel it for you?” Absolutely unacceptable response so I tell her ok just cancell so now I’m sitting home with no pizza after waiting over 2 hours. Will never ever take my business to this location ever again. When big games come on and detroits playing jets should know how to staff accordingly to handle business when it’s busy. I wish could’ve...
Read moreIf I hadn't had turbo crust at other locations, I would assume it was all a fable. Sauces? Sauces are an illusion. The pizza is always good, the staff is friendly and generally good (minus one creepy delivery guy that gives me wife the heebie jeebies) but hot damn if they don't struggle getting the order right. If it were baseball, they'd be a hall of famer with a career batting average of around .350... When it comes to getting pizza orders right though, not great. You world think ordering online would make it easier, as it puts my EXACT order in plain black and white, yet, here we are.
If the pizza itself wasn't so good, I'd give a lower score, but, let's be honest, I'm still going to order from here, because I don't want to talk to anyone on the phone (online ordering) or leave my house (delivery)... This is where we are in 2018, where company slogans are ”Just get it right once in awhile, because, meh"
TL;DR - Pizza is great, but they're probably going to screw...
