After deciding what I want to eat, the back and forth with the person taking the order averages 2 minutes which is asinine.
Two weeks ago approx (Oct'22), I went there for breakfast on my way to work. The lady seemed to have an issue hearing me over my virtually silent vehicle. After finally conveying the order to her (which I already knew), I let her know that the menu screens were turned off at which point she rudely said over the comms "I dont have time to deal with that". I don't know how many customers they had inside, but we are talking 945am... all that were in the drive through was me and another vehicle, did not seem busy, and I was just trying to be helpful. No need to be snippy about it!
Fast forward to this morning (11.9.22) I pull in knowing what I want, she asks me what I want. Me: Two Steak and Egg burritos, please Her: WHAT KIND??? Me: Steeaak and Eeeggg..... Her: Do you want it in a combo? Me: No, I want TWO burritos, Steak and egg, nothing else! Her: I HAVE TO ASK YOU.... At this point I pulled forward after giving her my order 3 times now. The car in front of me pulls off, I get to the window and she looks over and says, "I didnt get your order" At which point I yelled NEVERMIND drove across the street to Taco Bell and ordered inside of 30sec got a total and within a minute or two was out with my food. Read moreI work down the street from this restaurant. I come in fairly regularly. They have a special. Will you buy a one spicy chicken sandwich? You get the other for a dollar. Thus far, you just ask for the 2 sandwiches. They automatically apply the special today. They did not. And then when I asked them at the drive-through, they simply told me that it was my job to let her know that I wanted the discount. Did not offer to make it right just kept telling me that it was my job to let them know. There are a lot of places to eat at this intersection. I will start choosing one of them instead of this place. Carl's junior reached out to me. Had me, post a link into the the internet to help try to resolve my problem, which leads to an email saying they're going to reach out to somebody that never gets back to you and now 3 weeks later, I still have not heard A. Response, which even further reinforces the fact that I will never eat at carl's jr.Ever again, there are too many places that actually care about their customers. Read moreI went yesterday in my lunch break that’s about 30 min I arrived to the drive trough and order. There was no cars in front of me or at the windows. I order and I pay and wait. The young guy asked me if I could pull up to the front. I figured they were making fries or some so no big deal I did. Then I was waiting for like 15 min. And I saw people walk in and get surfed and then the young guy comes out and gives the people that went in the drive through after me their food. And he saw me and I waited another 7ish minutes and he never came out with my food. I payed almost 9 dollars and I had enough time to get back to work. I’m not the type to make a scene or create a confrontation so I didn’t go back to tell them they never brought me my food. But I’m lucky 9 dollars isn’t a big deal, but there is people that dose 9 dollars are the only 9 they have for a meal that day.
