During my recent visit to Carl's Jr., I was struck by a rather disheartening aspect of their dine-in service: the absence of plates, not even paper ones. This choice left me feeling as if I were eating from a street vendor rather than enjoying a meal at a well-established fast-food chain. The experience felt demeaning, akin to being treated like a homeless person rather than a valued customer. Eating from a flimsy paper tray diminishes the sense of dignity that should accompany any dining experience, regardless of the establishment's casual nature. It’s surprising that in an age where many companies are striving to enhance their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, Carl's Jr. has opted for such an unrefined approach. This lack of consideration for the dining experience raises questions about the brand's commitment to customer satisfaction. While I understand the fast-food model prioritizes speed and efficiency, it should not come at the expense of basic service standards. Providing plates—whether plastic or even disposable—could significantly elevate the experience and show respect for customers. MINUS 10 STARS! AVOID This Restaurant! We ordered the Biscuit egg cheese combo breakfast on our way to Knotts. This is Usually our breakfast stop on our way to Disneyland. NEVER AGAIN! AND I GOT ILL ON THE SMALL BITES I DID TAKE! RUINED OUR DAY AT KNOTTS!We waited 10 minutes, for What, I have NO clue because when we got to the car and were driving away I opened the sandwiches only to find Rock Hard Biscuits, Cold egg, cheese and Absolutely Disgusting Cold sausage! They must have microwaved the biscuits? But, then everything was cold, even the Tots! We couldn't even bite into the biscuits! We threw Everything away except our drinks and stopped at McDonald's! I had a great experience with Carlos, who was an outstanding employee. He attended to all my needs, multitasking efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude and a smile the entire time. His customer service was excellent, and he made my visit pleasant.

Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the manager, Patricia. Despite the restaurant being clearly understaffed, she didn’t seem to be helping on the floor. After briefly assisting me, she quickly disappeared and didn’t greet or acknowledge me. Her demeanor came across as rude and dismissive, which left a negative impression.
