Pros: the room and the table set up were both beautiful. The tea was really good, most of the food items they served were tasty.
Cons: The service was terrible. We felt like we were being spoken down to the entire time. The place had an eerie feel to it as we came to find out the nursing home is attached/on premises. An older gentleman came in during our service, asking us as the guests where he could find his friend (a resident at the nursing home). Why was he asking us? Because the service staff was nowhere to be found most of the time. I asked who I thought was my waitress for the check as my mom is older and gets tired easy and she was ready to go. The lady said she would have the owner bring it over - we waited for 10 minutes, but the owner was busy talking to somebody in the living room area and the waitress for some reason could not bring us our check but rather busy sipping on tea (there was only our party and one other party at the time). Finally, as my mother grew more tired and impatient, I looked up the menu on my phone, added it all up and left the money for the bill along with a modest tip. All in all a terrible experience celebrating my daughter’s BDay, not even a “Happy Birthday” from whom I thought was my waitress or the owner. Just a really bizarre experience and to add to this we have had high tea twice before so we knew more or less what to expect, but this...
Read moreYou walk in and it’s really cute, and then you get greeted. Me and my mother were greeted by a waitress who did NOT want to be there. I heard her complaining about how she was doing everything literally the entire 2.5 hours we were there. When she served us our tier she actually mini scolded us for moving our tea pots saying that she put them there for a reason so put them back. That’s not even the best part THEY DON’T WEAR GLOVES WHEN HANDLING FOOD. Me and my mother had a full view of the food prep area and only one person wore one glove for about 30 minuets and then no one worse any gloves. There was a finger print in the cake they served us. Not only that but two out of the three waitresses were coughing into their hands, touching their hair, or WIPING THEIR NOSE! Me and my mother tried to have a good time and only ate what we assumed they did not touch with their bare hands. WE ARE BOTH SICK TODAY AFTER EATING THERE! It is so sad because it really is a cute place but you CANNOT handle food without gloves and you CANNOT be pissy with...
Read moreMy wife and I have been trying to replicate the High Tea experience that blew our mind when we visited Ireland almost 3 years ago without having to fly across the pond again. I was so excited when I stumble across Arianna’s fine establishment online. I was able to book a spot for my wife and I to celebrate her birthday and to finally surprise her with a local tea experience. Arianna did not disappoint! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was divine, and the service was wonderful. We are fans for life and will be back again soon! Thank you so much for putting so much care and authenticity into your fine...
