Awesome people and delicious pizza!
I did an unplanned Google review of this Benny location.
I met Aaron, one of the owners and his lovely daughter London.
The decor gives a nod to the motor speedway in Concord. Da Corsa in Italian means race car.
I was waited on by Tim, friendly guy. He made some suggestions but I went for the traditional slice of pepperoni. He told me, they offer revolving pizzas on the menu.
Every month they do a different veggies and meat special.
All Benny’s pizza locations source the same ingredients & the cheese and the sauce are a special blend.
They do not however do gluten-free.
Oh, I’ve had pizza in Italy and this sauce reminded me of the pizza in the Italian Riviera.
I highly recommend this location and I’ll be sharing all about it with my friends.
PS I know there’s construction going on in downtown Concord right now and it may be impacting the businesses but if you can find a way around the development and support local in downtown Concord, they would be really...
Read moreFirst time customer. I ordered 3 slices. They were all dried out, slightly burnt, and had the flavor of a slightly moist saltine cracker... I can't believe that was the "quality" level of any pizza joint, let alone one of - if not the most - expensive place in the area. I don't recall ever having such poor pizza from a restaurant, and that's not an exaggeration. I was so excited, thinking this was going to be some sort of authentic high-standard experience, and I came away wishing I had just gotten Little Caesar's on the way home. Genuinely disappointed beyond what I would have assumed the floor for disappointment could have been. As I said to my girlfriend: "I feel like I just basically donated money to them". The only bright sides were that the employee who took my order was very polite and pleasant, and that the turnaround was quick; though I suppose the latter point is negated by the result.
Edit: I added a photo with my hand for color comparison. I think the issues I mentioned should be...
Read moreAwesome pizza. However, they now want to charge $2 for a small pizza box or take each slice in a bag. I have a toddler, she won’t eat a whole slice. Last time I came in, they wouldn’t give me a box because they would only give one for to go orders. That was 2 weeks ago. Came in today and they want to charge $2 a pizza box for any order as I did what was requested and ordered a slice to go for tomorrows lunch and to carry the two years olds leftovers. This is a pizza place, pizza boxes are a must. Maybe increase pizza slice sales to like $6.75 or something? Or maybe give a box of ordering 2 slices or more? I’m not going to order a 28” pizza every time I go there for my wife and I and a two year old. Maybe we should go back to Pizza Hut and wait on the pizza loft to open back up? Pizza loft at Gianni’s did have the best pizza in the concord area anyways. Just pretty crappy to charge for a normal size box at a pizza place. Nobody wants to use a bag to carry...
