Took the family here for lunch while visiting the Great Wolf Lodge. Expectations were low, however, somehow they managed to subceed even those. I could tell that our waitress was new because she looked terrified and clueless and had no sense of urgency whatsoever. It took forever for her to come take our order. Then, after taking it, she had to come back once or twice to ask questions to confirm the order, which is fine. I was a server in college so I understand it can be intimidating and I appreciate the effort to be accurate. It took forever for the food to come out. There were six in our party, but no one ordered anything complicated like fajitas or steak. I ordered a simple taco and enchilada combination. When the food finally arrived the plate presentation was so bad it was almost laughable. They brought it out on a ginormous plate with probably the smallest portions I've ever seen from a "hole-in-the-wall" Mexican restaurant (see picture). It tasted alright but I definitely went away still hungry. They brought everyone's food out together except for one person. I understand sometimes that happens because they can only carry so many plates at once. However, in this case, it seems they forgot about his food altogether, because we waited and waited and waited and the dish never came. It was only a burrito. Nothing fancy or complicated. Finally, the most infuriating part of the experience came when it was time to leave. We were all obviously done with our meals. We had even started stacking up some plates, but yet our waitress was nowhere to be found. When we did finally see her emerge, she didn't even come to acknowledge us. There was one woman dining alone who I could tell was giving the waitress a hard time. She'd ask for something and then when she came back she'd asked for something else, and then when she came back with that she would tell her that something else was wrong, etc, etc. I understand how frustrating it can be to have to deal with Karens such as this. I had my share of them when I was a server. But common sense should tell you, if you have a table with a $20 check and another party with a $100 check, who do you think is going to give you the biggest tip? Which table do you think you should provide the best service to and dedicate your time to? You always give priority to the table who's going to potentially pay you the most money right? Well, this poor woman apparently had none of that sense because she literally ran back and forth for the single woman at least five or six times without EVEN LOOKING at us once so that I can could simply ask for the check!! We literally sat there and waited for about 20 minutes for her to even acknowledge our existence. Again having been a server myself, I can be very understanding about a lot of things and tolerate a lot of mistakes. But the one thing I can't tolerate, which is inexcusable, is being ignored! And my ultimate pet peeve about a restaurant experience is having to wait to get out of there. Because you literally are trapped at their mercy, and there's nothing your can do about it! So despite the food being mediocre and less than desired, I would never go back here unless you enjoy being ignored and want to spend your entire afternoon waiting.

The food was some of the best Mexican food we have had in a long time for an incredibly reasonable price. Went on Taco Tuesday so it was even cheaper but everything else on the menu was very reasonable. The pork taco was seasoned perfectly. The kids quesadillas was also cooked well. So many times Mexican restaurants only half melt the cheese and put very little effort in kids dishes. This was not the case here! The service was also extremely fast and very nice. Only warning would be to beware of the "large" margarita. It's actually a fish bowl! It was good but could serve several.

Excellent Mexican food from tacos, queso, salsa and chips, cheesy enchiladas, fresh taco salads, stuffed burritos, corn or flour tortillas and huge fruity margaritas. Staff is better with takeouts. Sit-down service not the best with female waitstaff. Check your takeout orders, because they never give you exactly what you order. Either they don't want to make it or they just want to give you whatever. I wish the elder lady, who I think is the owner, still worked the register. She was very friendly, gracious and hospitable.

I will NEVER come back here again! Let me start off by saying, I'm not one to write a review usually. Even if a place made a mistake. However, today changed that. I went to get tacos for my coworkers and I today. I had a list written out and the female that took my order stood beside me while she took my order on the computer. I told her no pico on the tacos, the guy at the register said, "Yes no pico". I said, oh u remember me from last week? Laughing about it to some degree. Last week all tacos had pico and they remade them, I apologized for the inconvenience and they remade them, no problem. So the first few times she put the tacos with no pico and I guess because she kept messing up, she didn't put the no pico the last time she entered it. Same coworker had asked for avocado, keep in mind, it was half an avocado for $4. Then I asked for cheese dip, and ended up with shredded cheese instead. When I got back to work, we noticed the mistakes. I tried calling, same guy answered the phone, I told him about the mistakes and he said hold on. So I waited for 7 mins before I hung up and drove back to the restaurant. When I got there, keep in mind, I brought back all the food that was wrong and the avocado that wasn't eaten because of the wrong tacos, they tried to remake it, after the time spent driving already and dealing with the situation, I told them I wanted my money back. Then they said they could only refund the tacos that were messed up, oh keep in mind too, they didn't give us 3 of the tacos we paid for to begin with. I told them I wanted my money back for the 5 tacos that were wrong, the avocado that wasn't needed due to the mistake of the tacos, the shredded cheese which was supposed to be queso dip, and the 3 tacos i was missing. Equalling roughly $13. They said the manager would be back at 3 and I could come back then for my money, I said I couldn't do that because of work and I wanted my money back now. Then the guy tried to tell her (in spanish) tell her to come back tomorrow and speak with the manager. I explained to her, I used to work here and I used to love eating here but to be disrespected the way I was by them two about their mistake, I wouldn't be coming back. They finally gave me my $13. I tried being nice about it and it took me being mean for them to fix their mistake. The whole time I was dealing with this, probably 15 minutes or so, they also "pushed me to the side" inbetween arguing with me to take customers that needed to pay. I would say at least a good 15 people because of the construction workers on lunch. This situation was HIGHLY unprofessional of them and I've never had a restaurant be so rude over their mistake. I even brought back the food!!! Crazy part, my coworkers and I wanted to continue going there every Tuesday for taco Tuesday. The food is great! So the $13 the restaurant just had to give back, was nothing compared to the roughly $44 or more they could have got...

I have fbeen a regular customer of this place for three years and used to visit them at least twice a week. Since I am vegetarian I used to order either veggie fajita or chimichanga with beans onion and jalapeño. Today I visited them again routinely and order chimichanga combo that comes with two. Some how waiter screwed up so I brought it to waiter' attention as soon as my order arrived. Instead of taking it back and fixing it. He got me another chimichanga but than he wanted to over charge me. When I asked to talk to owner/ manager she refused to come to the table to talk to me and asked me to come talk to him at the payment counter. I did go and talk to her at the counter and ask her intervention. Instead of fixing the issue she just walked away and asked waiter to fix the issue who came back and just used my credit card to charge the full amount that I was disputing. When I disputed that he proposed to pay the difference. I asked him to reverse the charge and charge me the correct amount in the meantime owner lady came back and started calling me by by all kind names and started blaming me of fighting with them, every time I came in which has not happened in three years. She also threatened to call cops at one point and asked me to leave. I did in fact walk away but went back in to pay higher amount that they charged since I had eaten there.

I also considered calling cops for the mis treatment but than my buddy advised against it and suggested that I never come back to this place again.

As much as I liked this place I will never ever again step in this place again as I have not seen such a rude treatment.

Not to mention I always trated everyone in this place nicely. In return I requested the problem that I encounter once in three years be fixed and what I got was accusation that I should have returned the food that I already asked to but I was told that they will get missing food separately. There was name calling and accusation that I never had this place ever before.

Anyone going out to this place watch yourself. After today's treatment this place does not deserve even "F". They deserve worst possible rating available.

Owner of this place should know that I own my businesses and I myself am in QSR hospitality industry. I have brought lots of business to this place and you can be rest assured that I will make every effort to stop everyone I know to make sure that do no go through such a...
