We regularly go to the Iron Thunder in Monroe but we were in Concord so we hit up this one. It was a mistake. It was late enough to not be busy for lunch but the service was lacking. The waitress was bad. The drinks ran out. The fries were cold and undercooked (I know that is kitchen but you could literally see they weren't cooked well) The bathrooms are from a horror movie. The faucet was broken and leaking everywhere. The floors, walls and counters were run down and dirty. The toilets were disgusting. The prices were high. They charged $1 for a little plastic side of ranch. .50 maybe but a dollar? I would never return to this location.

**The owner responded to my review. We regularly recommend places to friends and family, if we find it worth it. We dont have to leave a review on every place. But we have in fact left a review for the other location. This review was left to help others in the same boat as us, understand they are not the same. If you have a location with the same name, same offerings, and such to a separate location- the customer can VERY much expect the same experience from one location to the other. We would have addressed our concerns, had our server been attentive, showed up at the table more than 3 times or generally was visible. There was a 2nd server who was always around. Her tables probably left very happy. We have never received free service, food or anything from the other location. We were always told about an upcharge or surcharge BEFORE we agreed to the item or got the bill at the other location. If your employees are regularly using the bathroom, they would know the state it was in. The general disrepair of the bathroom didn't happen in 1 hour. The portions are not generous. They are average for the price. You don't leave hungry, but you do leave dissatisfied. A professional response would have been empathy for the lack of service, undercooked food and general condition of the bathroom. Maybe a passive aggressive comment that you would miss our patronage in the future. But to pass off the faults of a restaurant on a customer.. That could...

Food & Service: I went for dinner on a Saturday evening; arriving around 6pm. It wasn't at all busy, 5 tables in total on arrival. It is a seat yourself environment. There were two girls covering the area. The tables needed a good cleaning, sticky & a bit grimy feeling. The one who covered our table was incredibly slow as was the kitchen. It took 10-15 minutes for our drink order to be taken and receive the menu. We put in appetizer request at same time. We ordered what was described as a "GIANT" pretzel; gross overstatement. It was comparable in size to an Auntie Anne pretzel. The queso included was bland; it had a little heat/spice but flavorless. For meal ordered garlic parm boneless wings with sweet potato fries in place of regular, what I received absolutely was not that. It was chopped chicken breast chunks with some sort sauce. We also order Philly cheesesteak; very little meat and huge pieces of peppers basically filled the roll with regular fries. Both types of fries were unimpressive. I did confirm that the flavoring of the wings was available as I requested and let them know I received something entirely different. Due to it taking nearly over 30 minutes to get food and was nearly finished by time we were able to flag her down for drink refill and point out the error; food was not corrected. She seemed annoyed I would point out an issue despite not requesting anything of her. Ambiance: Vibes were hole in the wall sports/biker bar with pool tables and bar to one side & dining to other. There are TVs absolutely everywhere so great for watching a game. If there is ever a live band playing, the vibes are definitely right. Don't expect to be able to hold a conversation while eating. Initially when we arrived TVs were on and music playing at a pleasant level to be able to converse without yelling. No idea if it was intentional but it changed to a football game blasting (entirely too loud for no crowd) but didn't align with any of the TVs. Overall, it was a very underwhelming experience. Additional note bathroom was another...

Awful place. I have been waiting for a while to hear DSD play and checked my weather and saw that they were calling for rain. I heard the guy from the band tell the owner that it was going to rain, and asked if they still wanted them to set up due to the rain, and if not they could leave and come back another time, and they didn't have to worry about paying them. I wanted to hear DSD play tonight, but the band only got through 3 songs, and then unfortunately it started raining. So the band, and several others who came to listen, had to help get the equiptment up quickly so their thing wouldn't get damaged, and it nearly was! The band requested to play inside. I overheard the owner tell the band no, they could not set up, and no he would not pay them, even though they had played several songs. I heard the guy from the band say to the owner that he had TOLD them he would pay them, rain or shine, and then still chose not to. Finally after arguing, the owner paid and they left. Not to mention, right after paying them, and before they left, they asked for them to play inside. NOT. I would have not. Not after giving them a hard time saying you were going to pay the entertainment that YOU hired, whether they played or not, due to rain or shine. I will never be back after seeing how the owner treated these people and how rude and unprofessional he was. Awful customer service. If I could choose to give them less than 1...

We snagged takeout from Iron Thunder Saloon & Grill - Concord here in NC last night. I ordered the famous buffalo chicken sandwich. The pic doesn't do it justice at all... The bun that came with it was enough for a third of the chicken. N the manager stated that it was on the smaller size... I was more than happy with what I got for only $14 (for this sandwich) ! The chicken was awesome and I loved the hot option! Also try the saddlebags appetizer of ya go! I cant see NOT getting the chicken sandwich again on the next time. The bartender whose name on the board stated *Shy (Sun 3/9/25 round 9pm ~~in case management wants to give her a pat on the back~~) was super friendly on and off the phone! Made a tasty margarita! Looked happy to be working (not always a thing for most coming from A fellow bartender) Love how the inside looks.. plenty of nice tvs.. big dining area seems ok for families. Great drink prices & daily specials on food and drink! Absolute must in this area! Pry gonna hit this place up again this week before Rollin back home! Plenty of pool tables if that's ur thing 🤘🏼 Also I chose 20-$30 per person option due to our bill being about 48 n that included 2 sandwiches, 3 sides (2 included), an appetizer, and a bar drink. Could easily be an option for 10-$20 per person

First time trying. Went on SuperBowl Sunday, expectations were it was gonna be packed, but surprisingly it was pretty dead, and don't understand why. Service was really good, attention was given and waitress was chill and nice. Atmosphere is like a Garage/Mechanic vibe, but place was super clean and many TVs and comfy seats. Food was exceptional. Yes the wings are FORZEN, but they are not under/over cooked. The sauces are great. The hot is XXXX hot. Garlic parm was amazing. Wings are fantastic for being previously frozen. Good size too. Their chicken sandwich was HUGE...like WAY HUGE. Crispy and moist, fries were hot and crisp. Philly sandwich was hitting the spot. The prices are EXTREAMLY reasonable, like way below what you would expect. $9.99 for most things and portions are generous. Over all a solid Sports type bar in concord Edit: Establishment commented about frozen wings, so now that I know they serve fresh WINGS..100000%%%% am going back to grab about 50 piece and spoil my self. Seriously, THEY SAUCES ARE FREAKING GOOD AS FU**
