Wow this place has gone down hill in the past year. Their food is great but we went for lunch a few days ago on my husband's lunch break and the service was God awful. His food came out and entire 45 minutes before mine did. He was waiting to eat it too until his naan came out and 20 minutes in I let the waitress know and she told us it would be 5 more minutes. That 5 minutes came and went and I know for a fact naan doesn't take 45 minutes to make even if they had no dough and made it from scratch to order. I was trying really hard to give the benefit of the doubt since I ordered tandoori because it does usually take longer but 100% it does not and should not take an hour and even if it did a heads up when ordering - "this dish takes a bit longer to cook. _ min is what we're expecting right now is that ok?" "Do you want for us to bring your husband's food out first?" Is all we needed and I would have ordered a masala instead. And then the waitress has the nerve to ask us if we wanted to order anything else since the kitchen was closing while I was 30 minutes in waiting for my order and husband was still waiting on his naan. To make matters worse, someone else - who I assume was the manager - came and asked at one point how everything was and I told her I wouldn't know and that my husband's food came out 45 minutes ago and that he was waiting for his naan and that his food was now cold and he was on his lunch break and didn't have time to wait any longer. She said she'd check and came back with the same "5 more minutes." No apologies or anything at all. Then the bill came, $65 for lunch and paid full price for a cold meal and one that took over an hour. I don't ask for discounts for poor service but I do expect for management to take action appropriately to make it right. Why on earth would you even have the audacity to ask how things were and then do nothing about it??? I usually recommend this restaurant to many but I think it will have to take a back seat for a while until they...
Read moreIt honestly hurts me to write this review. We gave them a whole month of June to really make up one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a restaurant. We ordered on a Saturday. We waited for our takeout for 1 hour... along with a few other people. Time after time, the staff just responded, it'll be another 10-15 minutes. Because we're super busy, we ordered a few dishes per order so we have the next few meals taken care of. That's a huge mistake. Large orders = more issues. There were missing items, a few dishes were completely wrong. The staff tried to tell us what we ordered was what they gave us - we literally received a mystery chicken dish and an awful assortment of different meats in replacement of what we actually ordered. And we were missing one $12+ dish along with a side of rice. They promised us a refund, which never happened. Every new order weeks to follow, I put in the comment as a gentle reminder - nothing. Well one of the last times we ordered, some problem again. We have learned to give them over 3 hours to prepare our order... That last time, the ample time didn't matter. Still long wait for no reason. It's the start of a shift, no crowd =( I want so badly to be able to support this restaurant because there's potential and the food is excellent if they give you the correct dish. However, it's so inconsistent, and customer service is extremely terrible. Please cut down on your menu and get an outside consultant to restructure the business and management. We wish you nothing the best, and truly hope you survive these times. I checked back on GrubHub and it looks you're making a few more improvements - raising prices by a few dollars, charging extra for delivery, and putting nice photos in next to dishes. Hope this are some good steps forward. We will definitely miss your food but won't dare to order until new management steps in and there's a completely new grand...
Read moreThis was, without a doubt, one of the most frustrating and disappointing takeout experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered Gongura Goat Biryani, expecting an authentic and flavorful dish, but what I received was an absolute disaster—a random mix of different biryanis thrown together with no care for quality or customer satisfaction. The attached picture makes it blatantly obvious that this is not Gongura Goat Biryani. This level of dishonesty is unacceptable. On top of that, the Chicken 555 starter was undercooked and completely inedible, showing a shocking lack of attention to basic cooking standards.
The poor service only made things worse. I ordered three biryanis and waited a painful 80 minutes, only to be informed at the very last moment that they had only prepared two. During this long wait, no one addressed us, updated us on the status of our order, or even apologized for the delay. This kind of indifference toward customers is completely unacceptable. If the restaurant couldn’t fulfill the order, they should have been honest and communicated that, rather than wasting our time and serving substandard food. For the price I paid, this was an absolute insult.
I understand that restaurants can get busy, but that doesn’t justify dishonesty, poor service, and delivering food that is nowhere near what was promised. Instead of cobbling together poorly prepared dishes, the restaurant should have taken responsibility and communicated the issue. Waiting this long for such a disappointing order feels like a complete rip-off.
This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this restaurant. I rate them as poor across the board—for food quality, service, and customer care. Management must take immediate action to address these issues and ensure this doesn’t happen to others. If the owner values their customers at all, I expect a thorough response and an explanation for this...
