As someone who loves breakfast and has eaten southern style food...this isn't it. Yhr lab technician had recommeded Huckleberry's since my daughter hadn't eaten to do the blood draw. Let me start with the food. The food was flavorless. The eggs tasted worse than powdered eggs and it didn't matter what I tried to add to them. The french toast was saturated in butter making them soggy. The chicken for the chicken n waffles was bland. FYI they use seasoning in the South. The service we had was horrible. The waitress came to our table a total of 4 times. She dropped off the drinks that were in huge mason jars without straws. I had to ask the food server for straws. Waitress quickly asked how the food was, and then i had to wait for ever to have her bring us our check. If I wanted bad food, I'd eat fast food. I paid over $50 for 2 people, I expected more but got a lot less. Plenty of places in the area that are worth paying that much for.

Okay so let's be honest. If you come at 11:30 on Sunday it's not going to be a quick bite. Relax. They will get to you and your food will be fantastic. It's worth the wait. Re: Coffee. It arrives in a piping hot mug that holds the heat. You don't get 'Farmers' or some icky restaurant supply brand. This is premium Italian Roast coffee and you will taste the difference. Dear $5bucks, you could learn a few lessons. Keto: you can order ala carte. My omelet was terrific, custom job w/ham & avocado. My husband's scramble was fluffy curds that were perfect, done but not overcooked. Kudos Chef! Service is friendly and dead on accurate. Well Done! So I pulled the top off my muffin and look what I found, all the way to the top! Those are giant Huckleberries. Ripe and delicious. Next time I am coming here for carry out coffee!

Review is for service. Looked forward all week to try this new restaurant with my family. Waited 20 min for a table, typical for a Saturday morning. However after we were seated, we waited... and waited...and waited for someone to at least take our drink order or acknowledge we were waiting. It was busy so we gave it some time. After 20 min passed my husband had to ask someone else if they could get our server who finally came, never even introducing herself. Not sure what was going on with her but we had to ask for silverware, water, and coffee refills repeatedly. Meanwhile I noticed people who came after us were serviced immediately by their servers. Food and coffee was good. I had the crab cake eggs benedict and beignets. I'm willing to try this place again, but probably during the week when it's not so crazy busy.

SO, I live like a mile from this place so when they opened up a couple months ago I was super excited to have a breakfast spot so near by. It didn't matter that it was a chain. It was Creole themed! Exciting. When I got there it reminded me of my days in restaurants, when we opened a new location. Tons of kids in their late teens and early 20s, WAY too excited to help you find a seat and get fed.

The menu is like any IHOP/Denny's/Village Inn menu. Lots of hi-res photos of perfect delicious looking food and tons of options for any mood or palate. I always order to much at places like this just to get an idea of what they're doing here. It's fun. I ordered and unfortunately, the fun ended there.

Each item to hit the table was more disappointing than the next. The appetizer LOOKED amazing. Just like the photo. Impressive. I have NO idea how they made what is essentially fried dough and sugar essentially flavorless. The only things I could definitely taste was the oil and the sugar. No other ingredients were present.

The entree had a few items on the plate. None of which had any real flavor of their own. They again LOOKED great. Excellent presentation. NO flavor. I feel like this is the biggest issue. It feels like betrayal, like I was lied to. Not only that, it feels like this food SPITS in the face of things that are DESIGNED to be flavorless! Things like Chalk! Or Soy Milk! Or Iocane Powder! Or the Pseudo-Halogenic Compound Cyanogen! How DARE you Huckleberry's!?!?!

How dare you.

Won't...

Thought this would be a good place to try, well we did and once was enough. I had the veggie scramble (no green peppers, we will get to that), my wife had the California Eggs Benedict.

Lets start with mine. You woukd expect to have more than one egg in a scramble right? Not here, had a giant mound of potatoes and what felt like one egg, I honestly couldnt see any yellow in the scramble....dissapointing and flavorless.

My wife's Benedict, The friedbgreen tomatoes were very good. However, the potatoes were literally cold to the touch.

This means the potatoes were premade and microwaved.

Pretty sad that something as simplenas potatoes have to be premade and microwaved.

The service was okay, the waitress didn't apologize for the cold potatoes, she had a dimeaner wasnas if it hapoened a lot.

Being in the customer service field it is dissapointing that a discount or even a small apology didn't happen.

The hardest part, they weren't busy at all.

I am always very fair about my reviews, the way I see is you get one chance as a business to do a good...
