I had heard about Jim 'N Nick's for years and had always wanted to try them. We came on a Monday night and it wasn't crowded at all. The atmosphere was Ok. We had a party of 6 and they sat us in a booth that was right in the middle of the dining room which was open on both sides. We were crammed in there pretty tight and with it being open it almost felt like someone was going to fall out. We had 4 kids and 2 adults so it's not like we had ginormous people or anything. The food was decent but somewhat underwhelming. I really enjoyed their habenero BBQ sauce. It was a little sweet with a pretty good kick. I ordered the pulled pork dinner and my only complaint was that the pork was really fatty. I get that pork generally has a fair amount of fat, but almost half my portion was fat - which I could not, and did not eat. So while the meat itself (what was there) was delicious, I felt like they could have done a better job and weeding out some of the fat. Also, the corn was interesting. There was some kind of milky cream on it. I didn't love it. It was just...ok. The potato salad was really good, however. The service was by far the best thing we experienced. Our waitress was very friendly and on point. She kept our drinks full and checked back often. Overall, I think I would give Jim 'N Nicks another try just because I really liked the BBQ sauce, but I think next time I would order the baby back ribs or something with a little more actual meat and less fat.

Our visit to Jim 'N Nick's was a perfect example of how exceptional customer service can elevate an entire dining experience. After what had been a long day with a few unexpected hiccups, we arrived hoping for a good meal to turn things around. We found far more than that, thanks in large part to Christine. Christine was truly a standout. From the moment she began serving us, it was clear she was dedicated to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. She didn't just meet our expectations; she exceeded them, anticipating our needs and going above and beyond to make sure we "had everything we had and more." Her attentive and proactive approach made us feel genuinely cared for, and she literally "waited on us hand and foot." This level of personalized care transformed our evening, making us forget the earlier mishaps and truly enjoy the moment. Beyond the stellar service, the food itself was equally exceptional. Every dish we tried was delicious and clearly prepared with care, reinforcing the positive impression left by Christine. The combination of incredible service and outstanding food created a truly memorable experience. We were so impressed that we would definitely come back to Jim 'N Nick's. It's rare to find a place where both the culinary offerings and the human element of service are so perfectly aligned, making for a genuinely delightful outing.

This place rivals the tenacious speed of Jimmy John's. Seriously! Everything about this place is fast! I was barely able to allow the door to close behind me and we were already seated. I normally order and forget what I ordered by the time a typical restaurant brings the food out - I enjoy the surprise that ensues from my memory loss - but the food came out before I could purge my order from my memory. The main entree also beat the delicious cheese bread that is supposed to prime your pallette beforehand. The speed at which their food gets cold is remarkable as well. Before I was able to take my first bite, the food was cold. Their stamina in cooling food to room temperature is apparent as the food has been cold on two sequencial visits. The first time I asked it to be reheated, but it somehow supercooled before I could take a bite! For this reason I didn't ask for it to be reheated on my second visit. For brevity's sake I will provide one last example of their unprecedented speed: the waitress was SO FAST I rarely saw her stop by. One time, about halfway through my meal, the bill appeared out of nowhere!

My stomach hurts very bad I think they did something to the food they watched us take bite !! My stomach!!! don’t drink the tap or you’ll end up making the old er white lady mad and if I get food poisoning it’s gonna be a problem why do people like this we pays over 50 to get sick and treated poorly! What happen to kindness and good food!!! Why do people like straight to the garbage it went. I love a refund it’s not right to do people like this and to think I was going to them cater a luncheon for my girl friends. I swear this make you not want to eat out ever!!! I never had barbecue this nasty ever!!!! And my Stomach Hurts!! What did we do to y’all that make you all treat us like this I don’t like complaining but this crazy where is the respect a black lady came and asked what was wrong with the beer, we said it was stale flat she said it made sense and walked away . Seems they have old food and beverages and give them to paying customers instead of throwing it in the garbage!!! My STOMACH!!! HURT. Complain just want ur my we get sick in return MYSTOMACH HURTS!!!!! I can’t recommend anyone or anything. 🥴😞 whyyyy what did we do but pay for y’all food that taking me out. I know air about restaurants and I know it’s not easy and I was a waitress for 3 years but this was crazy. Keep in mind you hiring Ian’s who’s working for you would they think like you the owner so people can come spend eat and have a ole good country ole time bring back love hot food and great family hospitality ...

I have ordered here a few times because I keep giving it a chance, but tonight was my final straw. The first time I ordered from here, I ordered the catfish sandwich, and I requested no tartar sauce (it was online so I have proof of the modification) when I got the sandwich, it had Tartar sauce smothered all over it so I ended up just eating the other items that I got and I just did not eat the sandwich. The second time I ordered they were out of baked potatoes so I settled for the mac & cheese, and it was not great. Now today I ordered again this time I got the loaded baked potato and a few other things and before I left, I made sure that there was no sour cream on the baked potato as instructed on the online order, and there was sour cream all over the potato, not even just a little bit on top where I could’ve removed it. So I let them know to see if they could remake it and they couldn’t because now they’re out of potatoes. If you’re low on something you think that you would be sure to pay extra close attention to modifications. I’ve now ordered three separate times and I’ve had issues with my orders all three. There was not much resolve or even care from the staff that this is happening. My recommendation would be to get a new kitchen staff as well as new expo who pays attention to these things. My food should not be getting past three different people and still be messed up. Really...
