Went on 8/22 for lunch with my mother, husband and kids. Arrived around 11.40am (open at 11.30am) and was told I had a wait of at least 15min for a table. Ok, we couldn’t do that since husband was on lunch. Ask to make reservations for my sons birthday as he wanted to eat hibachi. Was told that a reservation can only be done during the week for AT LEAST 12 people. Ok no worries. Saw her writing down our reservation, first reservation for that day. Called yesterday morning to ask about birthday celebration and increase the count of people to 14, was told that they will bring out a cupcake for the birthday boy at the end of the night and sing happy birthday and that they will add 2 more people to the reservation. Great. Arrived at there around 6.10pm. Waited, waited and waited some more. At 6.40pm one of our guests came to the waitress and asked why we aren’t seated yet, were told that they don’t have enough cooks. I asked the waitresses about the cupcake again and was told that “yes they will bring it out for him and sing”. Finally got seated after further waiting. Two separate tables… great. Oh well ok. Waited at least 15 more minutes before we got to give in our drink order, in worries that we would have to wait even more we asked to give our food order. Waited another 30min or more for the food to finally start at ONE table… that table was done eating when the second table started cooking… awful. Chefs were great, kind and the kids enjoyed the show. Food was good, were out of some stuff but whatever. Suddenly we hear the staff singing happy birthday at a table behind the curtains, when we turned around… a party of around 12 people all seated at ONE big table. How come we didn’t get that table since we made the reservations for that night first? Let it go… Never received any refills… had to chase the waitresses to ask for boxes and bags. I asked if they are typically this busy during the week and was told that this is normal. So why the long wait, why not enough cooks, why the awful service from the waitresses? My son didn’t get his cupcake with singing (even though the other party behind us did) and we were told that they were out of cupcakes… suddenly. DO NOT GO here! It is awful service. What a...
Read moreTERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I visited this location on my lunch break, and was given the wrong bag of food. I do understand that mistakes happen, however, I also expect an apology, and a resolution, other than inconveniencing me even the more. I called and explained the situation, and was told that I could bring the food back and receive the correct order, when they opened back up in 3 hrs (@5pm), because they were leaving at that time. That's a given (that's the LEAST you can do)! I then explained that I visited while on lunch, and that by 5pm (when they opened back up)I would be off and home by then (and I live 30 minutes away). I then asked if I could just eat what I was given (because I was hungry), and receive a discount on my next purchase, due to the inconvenience. I was told no, the only resolution was that I bring back the food, and receive the right order. I then expressed how even more inconveniencing that was, and was told again that, that was the only resolution. I then asked if I could just return the order the next day and receive a refund. I was told that that would be fine.
The next day I go by and ask to speak with a manager. I speak with a young lady, expecting her to manage the situation, and rectify it due to my MAJOR inconvenience. I explain my experience, and how unsatisfied I was with the customer service (very politely), and she didn't even apologize. The manager simply listened, took the bag of food that I returned to the back and had the cooks make the correct order (I was hungry so I didn't ask for my refund lol). When she returned with my order, I asked if there was anything that could be done for my inconveniences, and she said "yes, they gave me the correct order". I take it for what it is, and have made the decision to no longer give them my business. They also make up hours depending on how they feel. I've called 20 min till closing and was told that they were closed, as if I didn't know the hours of operation. It appears as though all of the head staff are children, and they do not know basic customer service practices, so until that changes, I will pass. The food is great but...
Read moreWe showed up on a Sunday afternoon at 1:20 with a party of 20 people. We have to do this on occasion because our church time runs over, we always end up spending 200 to $400. Today we were turned away at the door and talked to very rude as if we were causing them a major inconvenience. We were told they close at 2 and they did not have tables open yet we saw many tables open. The only white lady that works there is always rude to us when she waits on us, gets half or drink orders wrong and even has thrown my child's full plate of food away without asking if he was done.. we have always continued to to het and be nice until today. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! she is the one that refused to give us the owner's name and number refused to set us, and told us she would not take care of us today that we do this to HER every Sunday. When we asked for the owner's information she told us it came from him, then she said he was at unavailable bc he was at Walmart and then followed up with the "head chef" refused to take care of us today. No matter how you look at it, we were refused service 40 minutes before closing time and most of all we were treated like absolute dogs when we spend bundles of money in this restaurant. when i asked did they not want our business the lady told me, we do but we can't do it today. before we left, i told her we wanted again to speak to the owner bc she is ALWAYS rude and she told me "whatever!! we don't need your business. bye!! (with her hand in my face i might add).so I am saying to the owner or anyone else who reads, they turned away probably $400 today bc they chose to and now someone else will from today forward to get our business instead!! we all 20 plus friends and family will be posting on...
