Copperfield Center — Local services in Concord

We visited Longhorn for an early New Year's Eve dinner. We typically eat early on New Year's Eve since it is also our wedding anniversary. There was a short wait (about 30 minutes), and after we put our name on the list, we noticed people were eating at the bar, and there were seats available. We asked if the bar was open seating and were informed it was. We took our names off the wait list and sat down at the bar. We were greeted promptly, and our drink and appetizer orders were taken. Both drinks and appetizers arrived very quickly, along with a loaf of freshly baked bread. The Tonions were great! Our dinner order was also taken promptly, and our dinner order arrived quickly as well. Our steaks were done perfectly, and the sides were hot and fresh. Our bartender/server, "Fluffy" (if she is your server, ask for the story behind her name if she has time), did an excellent job and was very pleasant despite being very busy. I'm not sure what happened the night we ate here but the service was the worst service I've had in a long time. Our food was cold and our salads never made it to the table. The manager was frazzled so we were very accommodating because we didn't want to add to her stress. I think our waitress thought she wasn't getting a good tip because we're not drinkers, little did she know the five of us had been servers over the years and generally we tip 20 to 25 percent, her loss. Even with the poor service and bad food we tipped her 15 percent. Probably gonna wait awhile...
