I Can't recommend Longhorn if they're busy. My wife loves Longhorn Steakhouse. Most Friday or Saturday evenings the wait is too long (60-90 mins) but, tonight we sat out the 40 minute wait to get a table. I had to ask three times before getting the lemon we requested. Don’t get me wrong, I have all sorts of grace for staff when things are busy, I know there’s a lot going on and things get forgotten. However, if I am paying fifty dollars for food I expect fifty dollars’ worth of food or fifty dollars’ worth of service. Tonight I got neither. I had ordered a baked potato with butter only. What I received was a loaded baked potato. No problem, just send it back and get a plain potato. It took some time but, someone returned with a new potato. This one though was undercooked. I was going to let it go but, my wife managed to catch someone she knew and sent it back. I started on the steak which I had ordered. It was supposed to be medium well but, most of it was rare to medium. I can deal with it given my wife likes her steak on the rare side and I was losing interest in dinner at this point. This is when the manager brought the next attempt at a baked potato to the table. Except he just dropped it off and hurried along his way. We didn’t see anyone again for a while. Of course, this one was just as undercooked as the last one if not more so. By this time I’m way past done with this meal and have no interest in finishing. No one bothered to ask why I didn’t eat the last potato they brought out or if there was anything wrong with it, in fact, there was no offer for a box, or a to-go cup or anything else. Just a check for the meal. If I managed a restaurant and it had taken three attempts to get an order correct, I would want to be sure we had met or exceeded the customer’s expectations but, what do I know? I don’t see returning to Longhorn anytime in the near future. Given what I saw tonight, I’m sure that won’t be a problem...
Read moreFirst let me say that the waiters at the restaurant were superb and professional. Tasia and Steve, definitely were the highlights of our experience. The manager however was one of the most rude and unprofessional persons I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. My party was a party of 15. We were told that we wouldn't all be able to sit together but we could be at a large table and a booth. Fine. It was a last minute arrangement and we were fine with the table placements. 6 of us were in the booth and we left 4 seats open for the rest of our party. The table was full except 4. Our waitress took our drink orders and then the manager comes and in an annoyed tone says "well how many more people are coming" we can't accommodate more people. All you have is that table not the booth. We tried to explain that we were told we could have the booth. And his reply was..who told you that?? Umm the gentleman at the front. Instead of checking with the front, he says you guys can't have that booth. We were annoyed and shocked at how rude this manager was as we are paying customers. We got up. And waited for a table. We didn't have time to go anywhere else. After about 5 minutes we were given a booth that separated us from the rest of our party....and the manager never came and checked on us or to explain why we couldn't sit at out original booth. Just completely unprofessional. The waiters were exponentially more kind and understanding than the manager. Make one them manager. We won't be back to...
Read moreIt's been about 1 year since I've eaten at Longhorn's due to the pandemic. Went for the first time in 2020 yesterday and I was very disappointed with the quality of my food. I ordered the baby back ribs with fries and mac and cheese. My boyfriend ordered the porkchops and salad. The food just tasted like a "Hungry Man's" microwave TV dinner. I don't know how else to explain, but it just was not as hot as it should have been, it was not flavorful. The portion was generous but in my opinion the food quality & flavor was just mediocre and not worth the price. The drinks were strong and good. I ordered the strawberry margarita it was perfect. My boyfriend had 2 shots of crown and blue moon on draft special. The server was attentive and friendly. The manager checked on us at the table, but this was before our food arrived, he just asked us how our drinks were. They followed social distancing guidelines everyone was required to wear masks and every other booth was closed so customers can be seated 6 feet apart. We were there for lunch from about 1pm-3pm so it was not very crowded. We waited about 5 mins to be seated since there was a family of 6 in line ahead of us. Longhorn's needs to go back to the way their food used to taste. Our bill was was almost $72 and we...
