We needed a new microwave ASAP. Our broke on a holiday and on of our elder dogs is on a homemade diet. Since we bulk make and freeze them we need the microwave multiple times a day. I looked at a few places to go and settled on this store because it is local, women and Asian owned.
I walked in and started browsing the microwaves. I appreciated that the gentleman working asked if I needed any help after I was there for a bit. I told him I was looking up the model numbers online to see their features etc. and didn't need help. He was cool about it and nicely made sure I knew if I had any questions to just let him know.
After looking at the microwaves on display, I walked throughout their whole space to make sure I had not missed one. There was one I missed in the entry display. I looked up the model and size online. Checked to make sure it was the right size for the space I was putting it in at home.
I told him I thought I was going to buy it just wanted to check a few more specs online. Once I was sure he got it out of the display and made sure to give me the wall mount and screws needed for it. He offered some suggestions and advice from his experiences installing.
Then he worked on the paperwork.
Really appreciated that he highlighted the warranty number and details to register the microwave with GE.
The microwave is selling for $809+ elsewhere and I purchased it for $359+ tax. It was scratched up on the side but since it is being installed under a cabinet and between to cabinets that was of no concern to me.
They had a love of other appliances in there. I will be going to them in the future for any appliances. I would without a doubt recommend them.
I found it helpful to have my cell charged up and search the model numbers to see specs, some reviews and other details.
I asked and the gentleman who was in the store moved and placed the microwave into my car. He checked to make sure it had the pieces.
When I got home I noticed the interior circle that the glass sits on was cracked. I just used the one out of our old microwave. I had to hit the brakes hard a couple times on the way home due to it being what I can only describe as some driver's first days in discovering turn signals. Anyway, I am not sure that the crack is not from those driving instances as the microwave slid around a bit. This was not a big deal, I had a solution at home and I did not reach out to the store about it because had a solution at home already.
They do say they try out every appliance before it goes on the showroom floor which is great! Microwave is a dream and I love it. It is super easy to use. Way less loud closing than our older one and has a nice look in our kitchen. We are super happy with it and...
Read moreI'm baffled by the 5 star reviews, but I'm here to hopefully save folks from believing the reviews! I chose here because of the reviews that claimed this store was different than the other scratch & dent stores.
Everything started great. Owners were super nice. He was patient and helpful, took the time to listen to what I was looking for...we even talked about some recent difficult times my family had experienced. I spent 10 minutes showing him the intricacies of delivering to my home, where the driver has to go (different from GPS), the difficult access to my house, with assurances he'd go over the details with the driver. Also assured me that I would have no additional expenses, all needed parts were covered, etc.
Driver calls. I explain the delivery situation. He said the owner didn't tell him any of this. He next asked if I knew I had to directly pay him an extra $45 for parts & labor. Thus commenced a pretty negative interaction, for which he eventually apologized. Then he saw the delivery access and was whining like a teenager. So bad, that his partner had to encourage him to just get moving and get it done.
He was also so late (so many excuses) & throwing such fits, I told him to forget hooking up the water line and we would.
He had bought the wrong part. So we had to buy it ourselves and do all the work.
As the months rolled by I felt like the fridge wasn't working properly, but as I wasn't storing much more than things overnight, or sodas, nothing very perishable, I thought it was my imagination. The ice maker started melting and refreezing, thus jamming the cubes, and I started to have things spoil after 2 days. Still thought I'd bought bad meat or veggies, til finally I started a warranty claim in January, a few months later.
I am not at one month into the claim, and it's not fixed. No one can find a part, and I've been informed that it's refurbished. I was under the understanding that it was only scratch/dent. The fact that it's refurbished is NOT clearly stated, or I never would have bought this thing. I have special health needs and can not store my food in my "brand new", slightly scratched refrigerator, and I'm getting assigned to multiple servicers for this horrible purchase with no resolution.
STEER CLEAR. It's absolutely not worth few hundred $$ of savings!

Read moreMy experience at this store was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. Over the course of two days while shopping for a gas range, the staff repeatedly made negative and subliminal comments, continuously suggesting that I should go elsewhere. Let me also say neither of them spoke or greeted me walking in to the store. As a Black woman, the undertone of their remarks was offensive and dismissive, making the experience not only frustrating but also deeply insulting.
When I addressed their behavior, instead of taking responsibility, they tried to blame me for “how I was hearing things.” To make matters worse, the female representative at the counter arrogantly continued with negative comments and even stated she would “respond to my review” once I posted it — showing zero accountability for her actions. The sales representative even stated that her apologies were not sincere and stating other insulting comments about me not buying the appliance the same day I came in. In which I felt the need to defend myself as the customer considering this was a very narcissistic encounter.
This type of treatment is unacceptable. No customer should be shooed away, disrespected, or made to feel unwelcome while trying to make a purchase. If you value professionalism, respect, and fair treatment, I strongly urge you to...
