Branchview Dental Care — Local services in Concord

I was a little skeptical changing Dentists, but I had too…due to being new on SOCIAL SECURITY & finding someone in my network, It was nothing but the LORD who guided me to Branchview Dental Care…I was a little nervous speaking to both Carla and Riese on separate occasions over the phone…They both made me feel welcome and right at home I was new and they would be new… oh I must admit that #1 I was NOT really ready for change!! #2- surprisingly as soon as I walked in I have to admit that I was a little more nervous. I was greeted with smiles and pleasantries as I gave I think Carla my info and when we were finished and I was about to leave…Carla informed me that they had just gotten a cancellation and if I was interested I could have that slot…after thinking about it for about 4 seconds I said yes ma’am GLADLY! After that it was continued professionalism the rest of the way. A great big THANKS to you & Dr Chu as well Mallory for your professionalism, moving with a since of urgency and respect for time without missing a beat.after it was all said and done I had to give GOD THANKS FOR ALLOWING IT ALL TO TAKE PLACE! I waited for the doctor’s examination for a whole hour. They took an X-ray in just five minutes, and the rest of the time I was just waiting for the doctor. He finally came in, looked at everything in one minute, and told me I needed two fillings. But I had already scheduled the appointment for two fillings, not to sit and wait just to get a diagnosis and verdict. I don’t have an extra two hours to book another appointment just for the fillings!

And the only reason this happened is because I came as a new patient. So for my first visit, they decided to keep me waiting for an entire hour instead of just doing everything they did in the first five minutes and then actually doing the fillings. I don’t even have insurance — I’m paying out of pocket, and I was ready to pay for everything right then and there. But this whole bureaucratic process just drives me crazy. If I came in and asked for two fillings, why can’t they just do it here and now?

I really enjoyed my first trip to the Branchview Dental Care facility.

I made my appointment for 7 a.m., which fits beautifully into my work schedule. Brittany, my hygienist, was knowledgeable, efficient, and exTREMEly pleasant at such an early hour. She wasn't "chirpy," in case that kinda energy that early in the morning is a turn-off. It is for me. But she was enjoyable and excellent at her job.

Dr. Kennedy was thorough and very respectful of my time, which I appreciate tremendously. So many times one can go for medical treatment and it feels as though the doctors or staff are not as mindful with your time. Not here. I was taken in for treatment very punctually and treated effectively and thoroughly.

I need two fillings and a crown done in relatively short order. My options were clearly laid out for me and scheduling was a breeze. They know my work and travel schedules are hectic and planned with me accordingly.

Happy that flyer showed up in my mailbox. After moving to Concord a year ago, I still didn't have a dentist. Fixed that...
