First time in this place tonight... Thursday night about 945. I went straight to the men's room first thing. Kind of an awkward setup in there, but at least they did have water, soap, and paper towels. Service at the bar was courteous, professional, and prompt. I searched "dive bars near me" to find this place. It's not really that dive-y. My only complaint is the prices. $4.75 for a Lone Star longneck is a bit steep, although it isn't the worst I've seen. $5.50 for a small shot of well tequila in a little plastic cup is not cheap --- again it's also not the worst I've seen. I just happened to come in during karaoke night. This is a pretty rad karaoke scene. The front door opens up right in front of the stage, and there were 4 or 5 cute women involved in the performance that greeted me enthusiastically as I walked in. After I came out of the bathroom, a friendly customer (regular?) helped me sign up for karaoke. They do that thing here where you scan a QR code with your smartphone to get in the queue. There were 24 people ahead of me, but the karaoke jock called me to the stage almost immediately because I was a new singer. The KJ (a young white woman, I didn't get her name) was great at cracking jokes and keeping the energy up. Overall, I would definitely come here again. Good scene...

This place used to be a complete dump. Not sure who took this over, but kudos to them. I stopped in after seeing the renovations going on and glad I did. The bartender was explaining the new layout and live band schedule, as well as some of the food items they will be serving. She said the kitchen is being moved to the patio area, but should be ready in the next few weeks. Drinks were well made and I felt comfortable hanging out while having a few drinks after work. Last time I was in there, I was worried about falling through the floor, but after a short tour of their progress, the floor is brand new and safe. Definitely going to be back and can’t wait to see their new speakeasy lounge they are setting up in the...

Food would be 0 but I guess you serve popcorn. Service is a 4 because the bartender is amazing but she's wearing clothes. The last ones wore a bikini top and a G string... It was great! Atmosphere is and because there's someone here who agrees they miss Lefty's... This place is too upscale for the crowd it used to being in and surrounding neighborhood... I no longer feel welcome. I was never a big bar person, even dives.. Lefty's was the one bar I could comfortably go to and feel at home and not judged. It will never be the same and that's a shame. They chased out all the regulars and replaced them with Tvs. No vauled conversation to be had......

This place is about to TAKE OFF!!! I’m happy I visited today and learned more about it…..I’m looking forward to the blues music concept!! Lucy Blues is still going through a soft opening (as of March 5th) so no food yet but the interior redesign is spot on for a blues club and is upscaled from the previous bar. Also, no smoking inside but you can outside. I’ll add more photos the next time I visit and some video whenever I catch some live music.

Came here for date night when they had stand up comedy and we absolutely loved it! The drinks were really good and we got to try their secret menu sweet tea old fashioned which was amazing! Bartenders were very nice and we got good service every though the place was pretty busy. Very pretty bar too. Love the outdoor patio space! Will definitely be back!
