The service was terrible and there were barely any people for a reason, if you also pay attention they have a variety of options in there menu, which in hindsight seems like a good thing; because this place barely has any people you could hear a faint microwave in the kitchen which I only saw 2 people, and how are you gonna expect 2 people making that much of a variety of options. I'll tell you how, they microwave it. I had fried shrimp and they were burnt and so much batter on the shrimp, not to mention the soggy fries they were served with, I also found it uncomfortable that my drink was opened prior to it being served to me.
The environment was a little rough paint peeling of the walls, but it was alright ; the seats I sat in were very uncomfortable to sit on and made it a uncomfortable experience. To add on about the service, it was very bad. We walked in with 2 other groups with 2 people each and when we walked in a group of 3 they seemed to immediately get us our drinks and accommodate us with their chips and salsa, but once a group of 10 people walked in they gave the cold shoulder to our group while keeping there attention to that group. Keep in mind we waited 30 minutes for our food but once we flagged down a waiter to get our food and once we got our food we were disappointed at our food which mentioned earlier, so overall spend your money somewhere else.
I've been reading reviews and it seems that the owner of this establishment is very unserious and only further worsens thing by arguing which is not what the proper etiquette is for a restaurant owner, but I wouldn't call this dump...
Read moreNot good! Came here to place an order for the Pozole. Got my bill and was charged more then the menu price. When I pointed it out in the menu she tells me their prices changed. If your prices changed it should be reflected on the menu or by means of notification before I order food thinking it’s the price on the menu. Then I get my food and by the time I get to the car it was so hot that it had melted the container. It’s a soup so it should be very hot and they should have the proper containers to serve in take out or it shouldn’t be available. I took it back And they fixed by means of doing the same thing. The young lady at the counter had a face that showed of her aggrevation. But don’t get upset with me for what you did wrong. However I managed to get this one home and straighten out myself to salvage my food. I get home and there was no rice with the Pozole and it wasn’t fresh and no utensils. Glad I didn’t want to eat it before I got home. I will give them a pass on the rice because not everyone uses rice and maybe it changed like the prices. It tasted like they used leftover meat. My husband loves Pozole and turned me on to it. When I brought it home he wouldn’t even touch it because he said it smelled funny. Which he was right because when I tasted it you could tell the didn’t use fresh ingredients like the meat used in the dish. I’m new to Texas and have just learned how to make this and even mine was better than a restaurant known for these...
Read moreIts fresh and amazing! homemade tortillas and ideal flavoring in all items. Even the rice and beans were exceptional. The meat in my two fajita tacos was lean and plentiful. Each one had a little bit of fat. I just pulled it out set it aside and pounded them down. There was a green salsa that had a kick. It was cool and thicker than most. I liked it more than their awesome red sauce. My second trip was a week later and they were more busy. I had a chicken Flautas. They were huge. The meat was chunks not shredded chicken. It became two meals. There are three waiters and maybe a cook in the back. No issues with service the food comes out in a timely manner and the cleanliness in...
