Iâve never been treated as rudely as I was on 12/19/2023 by TESLA. I get it, some people are hardheaded, but when you do things to your detriment just because you donât want to admit youâre wrong, thatâs a problem. I stopped @ the restaurant around 4:45pm. (My daughter is collecting McNugget toys and she asked me to look for the one she was missing.) Employees were standing around, 2 customers sitting at tables. The place was dead. Which is why I stopped, because I didnât want to ask about a toy during a rush. A very nice young man wearing a headset greeted me (he isnât part of this 1 star review, he was the only redeeming part of that whole restaurant) while everyone else just stood there doing nothing. I asked him about the toy, he checked and they had it. This is where everything shifts. Apparently that young man was stationed at the drive thru and had an order. A thin young man took over at the counter, drive thru guy sets my toy on the prep counter. I re-explain to ThinKid that I want to buy the toy. He says he needs to ask how to ring it up. He goes to Tesla and quietly asks, she not-quietly answers âShe has to buy FOOD.â Google âLida & Melina, MadTVâ if you want to get the full experience of Teslaâs dialect & attitude. Include a swinging ponytail. ThinKid comes back and tells me I have to buy food. Iâm not a regular connoisseur of McDonaldâs and my kids are grown so I donât know the rules when it comes to toys anymore. I asked what I had to buy, he said âWhatever you want,â so I ordered a cheeseburger, fries & juice for my husband. My order arrived on the counter, I checked the bag. No fries, no toy. I ask ThinKid âWhereâs the fries & toy?â He says âYou want a toy?â Seriously? Tesla chimes in and says I have to buy a nugget meal. So I tell ThinKid âOK. I want to exchange that cheeseburger for a NUGGET meal and the TOY that drive thru guy showed me.â ThinKid calls Tesla over because he doesnât know how to refund the cheeseburger. She rings up the nuggets & toy and gives me a $2.11 credit for my initial purchase. Apparently no one here knows how to do a refund. Order up, I check and thereâs a different toy in the bag. Iâve been in the store for 20 minutes now. This is when Tesla decides to cop an even bigger attitude. She says âWe donât have time to dig through the toys to find the one YOU want.â I remind her that the one I wanted was already on the counter, all they had to do was put it in with my food. She says âTHAT toy got tossed back in the box,â and she wasnât going to look for it. I tell her Iâm done, I want my money back. Iâm not buying food that I donât want to get a toy that I donât want. She tries to refund me $8.53, I remind her thereâs also $2.11 due from the initial purchase. She scolds me! She wags her ponytail and says, âI already GAVE you $2.11 toward your meal. You GOT your $2.11 already!â I pointed at the meal on the counter and say âMy $2.11 is IN THERE. Tell me what, exactly, I should take out of that box to recoup my $2.11.â She huffs and puffs. I tell her âAll you have to do is let drive thru guy retrieve my toy, and I will leave with the toy AND the food! No refund necessary.â She completely ignores me and says ââŚinsert your credit card.â She refunds me $12.86. I tell her âI only spent $10.64. Your drawer is going to be short at the end of the night.â She said âI donât know how to do a refund any other way and I donât care.â I told Tesla she was very unprofessional and rude, she retorted she WAS professional. I left with my $2.22 gain. I drove maybe 5 minutes and saw another McDonaldâs on League Line Road, so I stopped. Guess what? They were HAPPY to check for the toy, which they had, and I was out with food & toy, stress free, in under 5 minutes. Tesla is a beautiful young woman, but the minute she opened her mouth she was nothing but a hostile, trashy punk. I feel sorry for her customers & coworkers because she is just not a nice person. Hey Tesla! Itâs OK to admit when youâre wrong, itâs OK to admit when you donât know how to do something. Thatâs how people...
Read moreStaff needs to smile and be friendlier. One of my biggest pet peeves at fast food restaurants is when you pull up to the window and the person taking your payment is very blah, isn't smiling, not friendly or welcoming. The same with the next window where you pick up your food. It's like they might near throw your food at you without even asking if there is anything else you might need or want. If fast food restaurants had the same ethics and training as an example of Chick-fil-A's employees, then other fast food restaurants would do exceptionally well. It isn't that difficult to train your employees to learn basic etiquette, to always smile, be friendly, and be very neat and clean looking, without showing tattoos, piercings, crazy hair coloring, and off-the-wall hairstyles. This does not look very professional, nor does it make you feel that your food and all is very clean in eating. There is no reason why managers should not instill work ethics, common courtesy, and more in their employees. This is why there is such a high turnover rate, which brings me to my next question. Who is training these managers? Corporate needs to step up its game on hiring quality-type people who are going to bring strong leadership into these roles, as well as implementing solid, consistent, and training...
Read moreFelicia the manager is the worst customer service manager. If thatâs even her name. We kept asking several employees her name. They all kept saying âI donât know her nameâ till one came back and whispered her name was Felicia. She should not be talking to any customers the way she did to us. Her attitude is horrible. At the second window we saw her talking to the young girl who was going to hand us our food. The young girl opened up the window and rushed out food to us, didnât say a word to us. She was probably told not to talk to us. All because another manager told me we could go back and collect out 10 piece nuggets that they didnât give us from days before on a door dash order. I called to let them know that every time we DoorDash from them something is always wrong or missing. The manager Brett, that I had spoke to was very nice and said we could go and get our nuggets that week. Felicia is as so rude and said Brett didnât know what she was talking about and shouldnât be doing that. Just rude attitude. Yes, I should DoorDash from somewhere else but itâs my go to. And Iâm handicapped and canât drive. I wasnât asking for my entire order that day to be free, just the nuggets that we didnât receive be replaced like the other manager had said...
