Ya know, I had just spent 5 min writing a really nice review about Boot barn, and my current experience has made me change my mind. For those interested in the details... I went in perposely to try on and buy jeans. I recently lost 75 pounds, not intentionally, I have cancer, so have been avoiding shopping because I feel like skeleton. I have plenty of jeans but they are all now 4 sizes too big! So I knew i was going to hunker down and take the time, and find atheist one pair of jeans that fit that I like and make feel like I look normal okay, so I did I grabbed 8 pairs of jeans all different brands and styles but 3 different sizes I don't know what size I am any more. I also grabbed 2 dresses one long one short a fringe top and a vest. I said hi to the fitting room lady, she even asked if she could help me I said no I'm good. Okay so I tried every thing on well some I didnt have too because another similar one that was smaller or something, I went fast, I hate people that take forever in the fitting room and I know because of rodeo there are a ton of people also doing the same thing... I even hung every thing back on the hangers folded what needed to be folded, (correctly) and when I came out the girl had a bing of stuff in front of her and was helping another customer so I went and put back all the things that didn't work I hung on to 4 things 2 I liked but needed a smaller size one was perfect and the other pair were more than perfect but over my budget and I couldn't justify spending it so I put those back they didn't have any smaller size in the jeans or dress the dress is already and extra small and the jeans are a 25 waist. I took the great jeans went around trying to decide if any tops would work with the jeans and the other parts of my outfit for rodeo, nothing else tickled my fancy a girl walked half way across the store and popped up right in front of me and asked if I needed help but it was kind of awkward the way it happened and I realized they think I'm stealing shit... super. I almost handed her my shit and walked out but I really like the jeans I go to counter the girl says something about they are buy one get one 50% off, I said no and make a joke about the really expensive jeans she turns around says a bunch of shit to the girl behind her in a language I don't speak and finished my transaction and I walked out feel soo awkward and embarrassed and frustrated... and it's such an insignificant thing to get upset about but I can't be the only one this has happend too and it's ridiculous to treat people like this when your running a business, no wonder there is never anyone in this parking lot. I'm going to...
Read moreWell, let's start by saying I purchased a $300 pair of boots 3 months ago, that have been worn maybe 10 times at the most and the entire bottom has rotted out. So, today I go to Boot Barn to buy 5 pairs of Jeans and 5 new shirts. I needed in the dressing room, since I've lost alot of weight and gonna pay high dollar for jeans I want them to fit right. It was a inconvenience for the lady up front to let me in the dressing room with my Jean's..I said mam can you please unlock the dressing room so I can try jeans on. Rolled her eyes, and opened the door. Said not a word. I said "Thank you"...She walked off like screw you. No problem, she didn't have her coffee this morning....Ok, got my jeans now! Let's do shirts, so I get 7 shirts to try on...(Again Boot Barn stuff is expensive as F so it better fit right before I buy it) dressing room is locked. I go to the front again cause you can't find nobody around..Mam, need back in to try on shirts. Jerks her keys off the counter and walks over to let me in. I said "Thank you" she didn't say anything and walks back to the front. I do my business come out with my shirts! Ok, I'm ready! I spent $764 dollars....at a store. . With the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I will NOT go back, if I spend $5 or $10k every customer deserves to be treated with respect, and associates should be happy to help. This lady obviously didn't get milk from her cow this morning, but as a business owner myself...I'll be damn if I have someone working for me that's gonna treat my customers that way. Form your own opinion folks, hope you get better...
Read moreI went into the store today to purchase a good straw hat for working in the yard. I also wanted to look at a pair of Dress boots and some jeans and I walked into the store kind of in a daze not sure where to begin and this Young lady Kristen came up to me and asked me if I needed some help. I explained to her that I wanted to look at a good straw hat to work in the yard with and maybe a pair of Dress boots and have NEVER in a very Long Time had such wonderful customer service. She helped me in finding a hat, the boots, we tried on a few jeans that I didn't find anything I Really liked and I didn't even Know anything about bootsocks so She got me a few pair of those and I Am just a very very HAPPY customer I will definitely be shopping at the store again. There was also a lady behind the counter that was very helpful when Kristen had a question about something this lady behind the counter, I wish I knew her name, but she just took care of all of my needs along with Kristen. I just want to give a huge praise to these 2 women and hopefully their bosses will see this and bless them...
