I visited Wilmington for the first time in over a decade, and on a beautiful, sunny Sunday, I stumbled upon this charming Italian restaurant—and I’m so glad I did. Everything about the experience was memorable. The food was fantastic; I ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes, and it was cooked to perfection—flaky, flavorful, and comforting without being heavy. The drinks were just as impressive, refreshing and well-crafted, perfectly complementing the meal. What really stood out, besides the quality of the food, was the value. Great prices for such high-caliber dishes and service. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect stop during a nostalgic spring visit. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Wilmington and craving something delicious, well-priced, and served with care.

Corner bistro was great. It was our first time, and we will definitely be back. The ambiance was great, and so was the service for lunch. I got the French onion soup which was great. My fiancĂ© got the crab bisque (it’s red if you were wondering), and we both got sandwiches. I got the Cubano, and he got the grilled cheese, and we each took a piece of the other so we could both try each one being our first time. We were highly impressed with both sandwiches. We would both order exactly what we ordered again, and be completely happy with the order. It was a little pricey finishing off at $47 (with no alcoholic drinks), but you get a good serving of each item which makes it worth it in my book. Definitely check this place out for lunch you won’t regret it.

Food is delicious, Salmon was really good, the risotto was rich and creamy. Everything came out super hot. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Big and delicious. My friend had the short rib and she liked it a lot, the tropical siesta was delicious drink. Complimentary peanut butter cookies at the end, I think they are just food service cookies heated up but still good! Bathroom kind of dirty. And the ambiance in the front room with the bar is cuter than the rest of the place. Rest of the place is more low lit and lacking decoration. We paid about 55 a person including tip for a meal and a drink. We are not from Delaware and it was cool there was no tax (though I think they add it to the prices ahead of time).

Title: A Delightful Culinary Journey at Corner Bistro!

Review: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Corner Bistro, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that set the stage for a truly remarkable dining experience. We were with two kids coming from soccer practice and did not know how nice the restaurant was, so we were under dressed.

Let's start with the menu. Corner Bistro offers a diverse selection of dishes that cater to a variety of tastes and preferences. The menu is expertly crafted, featuring a fusion of flavors and innovative combinations that showcase the culinary prowess of the talented chefs.

The food itself was simply outstanding. Each dish is prepared with great attention to detail, and it's evident that only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients are used. I had the pleasure of trying their half chicken served over mashed potatoes, fish tacos, and off the menu butter pasta prepared for my two children which they devoured.

The service at Corner Bistro was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions you may have about the menu. Throughout my meal, I felt well taken care of, and the staff's genuine passion for their work shone through.

The atmosphere at Corner Bistro is another standout feature. The cozy and intimate setting creates a relaxed and enjoyable dining environment. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or having a casual dinner with friends, the restaurant's ambiance is perfectly suited for any occasion.

Lastly, I must mention the attention to detail that Corner Bistro demonstrates. From the beautiful presentation of the dishes to the thoughtfully curated wine list, every aspect of the dining experience is carefully considered. It's evident that the team behind Corner Bistro is dedicated to providing their guests with an extraordinary culinary journey.

In conclusion, Corner Bistro is a hidden gem that deserves recognition for its exceptional food, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere. It's a place where flavors come alive, and every bite is a delight. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant to experience a truly memorable...

I'm always leery of restaurants in strip mall areas, but I've been surprised in the past. This place is trying to be something they are not, and they are taking advantage of people, which is why I don't go out to restaurants anymore.

This is a bistro trying very hard to be chic, but it's a glorified café for old folks. The decor truly did transport me to France, but the food flopped really badly.

I went with a friend where we both ordered drinks. I was given a 2 ounce drink with a huge block ice for $15. Highway robbery. I started out with the French onion soup. I thought it would be a bigger portion because, in a separate part of the menu, they advertised quiche of the day with a petite French onion soup. The normal soup was not advertised as petite. The meal combo was actually the best meal value to anything else I saw on this menu.

It was ok tasting. My friend's beet salad wasn't too bad looking, but there wasn't an even amount of greens to beets.

The entrees we ordered with the avocado BLT with fries and the chicken salad plate.

My friend's sandwich was dry with no mayo or sauce to make it appetizing. She said it was meh.

My chicken salad lacked in herbs and tasted like chicken with mayo. The greens weren't dressed, and I requested dressing, which took 15 minutes to receive because the dining room had filled up, and the waitress was taking care of multiple tables. Mind you, we were the first ones in the tables at opening.

The price point on this plate was atrocious. For $16, I got 3/4 cup of salad with greens, 3 small slices of naan, which were actually pita because they were crispy and weren't enough to enjoy with my salad. The fruit was nice, but I ended up making my own salad, cutting up the fruit, and adding the dressing i requested.

Do yourself a favor. You can make this at home. This place is seriously overpriced. Oh, and the sign outside looks like something out of the end time. Letters fading, plants dying outside because of the heat. Lol, I felt bad, but the outside has...

When you decide to unwind after a busy midweek and decide to go eat something nice, I completely rely on Google reviews & Ratings.

This was to my utter disappointment that the Service provided by a young girl At the Corner Bistro was absolutely not to the mark of service, we asked her for the drinks menu and she said I will be right back and totally forgot about it for 10 whole mins. Since we were seating Alfresco I had to go inside to ask for the drinks menu as they were closing at 9pm and it was already 8.40pm where we had already been there for 15 mins or so.

So there Came Christian to our rescue and saved the situation and got us the drinks menu, attended to us well with a bright smile.

20 mins into all this and we placed the ordered for a couple drinks : Lady Grey Elderflower Oldfashioned

Food: 1.Burrata 2.Roasted Chicken All of which came in 10 mins later

Although from the pictures the food looked delicious, but behold Dear friends

The Buraata was with burnt chewy bread - which was an instant disappointment.

The Roasted Chicken was too Salty, not juicy or succulent at all. And the bed of Smashed potatoes were literally lukewarm not even warm. So as much as the pictures of the food are a treat to the eye it wasn't at all a Relishing meal.

We ate the food anyway keeping our need to first refuel from a tiring day.

Post eating I gave this whole feedback of the service experience & Food quality to Chritian and she felt so accountable for the whole situation she right away took off the Burrata from the Check. Which was kind of her. Thank you Christian.

Honestly our intention was to have a good meal which wasn't met.

A good service and good food makes the whole experience worth the time.

In this whole Ordeal Christian saved the day for Corner Bistro.
