Not for me, I understand the appeal l, just not my personal jam. The cookie was too sweet and undercooked for me (it was safely made and cooked just a bit less than I prefer). Please note my personal preference is a chewy on its way to crispy cookie (Wegmans style) versus more of a cake consistency (crumbl style) and that this review should be seen through that lens. I kept it simple and opted for the chocolate chip cookie, as these are my favorite variety across all bakeries. So this was my first ever Crumbl Cookies experience. The store was clean, brightly lut and open in design. I ordered my cookie using the self service kiosk (honestly I'm not sure if there is another way to order). As soon as I paid and even before answering all the questions on the kiosk the gentle person behind the counter fulfilled my order and gave me the cute little pink box with my cookie. While I had initially thought the cookie was a bit overpriced upon opening the box I understood. The hefty cookie was almost 4 inches in diameter and almost an inch high. It was warm and fragrant with a beautiful golden brown accent to the top. Upon breaking the cookie 🍪 into halves I noted the large chocolate chips and gooey center. The chocolate chips appeared to be milk chocolate and upon first glance the center undercooked, but upon closer examination it was fine. The first bite from the edge was nice, however a bit soft and cakey for me. As I attempted to eat more I felt overwhelmed by the sweetness level and texture (creamy chocolate and soft doughy center). It was good just too sweet for me. I feel that based on the dough used it would've had a better contrast using semisweet or dark chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate to create more contrast. I ate approximately half the cookie before I felt satiated and save the second half for later. All in all a good experience and nice shop, just not my speed.

I happened to be up in Rockville the other day and saw the sign saying "Crumbl now open" and my curiosity was piqued so I thought I should check it out. I walked in, looked over the menu, and immediately knew that my first purchase would have to be their Milk Chocolate chip cookies. The first thing I noticed was just how large the cookies are, check out the photos, these things are almost as big as my hand! I went with a 4 pack so I could share with friends. When the box was handed to me, it was warm and I have to say, that was a nice touch. Taking my first bite, I was greeted by delicious chocolate chips that were warm and slightly melted. These cookies seemed to have just the right blend of crunchy and softness, that is so challenging to get, especially with cookies of this size. Did I mention, these cookies are gigantic? They're large enough that they could probably compete with cupcakes for dessert. I hope that maybe someday they'll make a chocolate dipped option. My only gripe is that these cookies are kind of expensive, but if you compare them against similar gourmet cupcakes, then the price is more in line. In any case, I'll definitely be back.

Last time we can here there was spatula pieces in the cookie that we were eating, sizes big enough to chew and notice it was some black plastic pieces. We contacted the store they helped us figure it all out but we have kids and thats not what we would have wanted them to eat so we stopped going to crumbl cookie after that incident which was about a year or so ago. We happened to walk by and the kids just had to know what flavors there was so we walked in and found it was really good flavors so I told them why not we will give it another go. We picked everything all the new flavors paid and waited. As we waited we noticed one of the cookies sold out. We figured it was after we chose our cookies and had been waiting about 5mins so we would get ours. Sure enough after our waiting they call us up to let us know that they had sold out and we could not get it unless we waited over 30mins. I let them know I didn’t care for a different cookie and just wanted like a refund on that one Cookie. Not only had we already waited long but just to get an answer of “you can’t get a refund” took along time as they all talked amongst themselves. I didn’t want to be there in the first place I didn’t want to try them again and here I was in another situation that I didn’t want to be in. I couldn’t get a refund on that cookie unless I didn’t want the whole box and that’s not what we wanted after we had been waiting. Just wished I would have had a better experience but hey kids were happy in the end and no spatula pieces were found in them this time so guess...

I’ve gone to crumbl at multiple locations and this was by far the worst. The counter where they show you/ give you your order was full of crumbs. No one bothered to wipe it down. The counters where they were finishing up the order was just as dirty. When you received your box of cookies the outside of the box had a bunch of debris stuck to it from different cookie crumbs and frosting. They definitely did not clean their stations. Which you don’t have to do between every customer, but if the boxes are getting random crap stuck to it… maybe a quick wipe would be a good idea. In fact, their finishing station was cluttered as well, which didn't help the problem. Unless crumbl has changed… they usually let you see the final product, they open the cookie box in front of you to make sure the order looks ok. The workers in this store never did this. I saw 2 customers in front of me open the cookie boxes and complain under their breath that the cookies looked all messed up, but by then the worked had already walked away. I also dealt with the same issue. I opened the box at the counter and it looked like I had driven with the cookies on my dashboard going at high speeds and also breaking like a maniac. They were smooshed and leaning on top of each other.

I am going to eat the cookies because they taste the same no matter what they look like. However, crumbl is not cheap and what you’re paying is for the aesthetics of the place. Lame when your cookies look like they’ve been through a bad breakup before you take them out...
