Title: An Exquisite Culinary Journey at DERA Restaurant in Springfield
I recently had the pleasure of dining at DERA Restaurant in Springfield, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, inviting ambiance that set the tone for a delightful evening.
The menu at DERA offers a rich array of traditional and contemporary dishes that reflect the vibrant flavors of Pakistani cuisine. Each dish we ordered was a testament to the chef's mastery and dedication to authenticity. The Chicken Karahi was a standout, with tender chicken pieces simmered in a perfectly spiced tomato-based sauce that was both aromatic and flavorful. The blend of spices was expertly balanced, creating a harmonious symphony of tastes that left us craving for more.
The Lamb Biryani was another highlight. The fragrant basmati rice, infused with saffron and an array of spices, paired perfectly with the succulent pieces of lamb. The portion size was generous, making it a perfect dish for sharing.
We also tried the Seekh Kebabs, which were cooked to perfectionâjuicy, flavorful, and with just the right amount of char from the grill. Accompanied by fresh naan bread and a tangy mint chutney, it was a match made in culinary heaven.
To top off the meal, we indulged in their signature dessert, Gulab Jamun. These sweet, syrup-soaked dumplings were the perfect end to an extraordinary meal, offering a delightful balance of sweetness and texture.
The service at DERA was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who were more than happy to offer recommendations and ensure our dining experience was exceptional.
In conclusion, DERA Restaurant in Springfield offers a remarkable dining experience that beautifully showcases the richness of Pakistani cuisine. Whether you're a connoisseur of South Asian food or new to its flavors, DERA is a must-visit. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious meal in a warm and...
Read moreI am a regular customer from Dera. I always used to buy from them. Itâs been couple of years I buy from them. Specially during Ramadan I always buy Haleem, pakora, Chillies fry, Tandoori Leg piece and others. But today I got surprised by their food quality. I bought haleem today. Which had extreme level of sault. Extreme means I donât know how to explain, I bough it home. Everyone ate one bite and throw away. The salt was that much extreme and it was not tasty like before. I bought Chillies fry. Same problem extremely salty. We were unable to eat. I bought tandoorileg piece. The chicken was smelly and not properly cooked. I donât think so they marinated well. So this is whatâs their product quality now. Letâs talk about their price now it was always very expensive. I am More than happy to pay if they serve tasty food. But the food I bought today with $100, they donât deserve any penny. I had to throw all of them. Letâs talk about their employees. They donât have manner. They are liars also and they donât know whatâs available from menu. I asked one food item from one of them employee, he said itâs available Iâll make it ready for you come later. We went back again and the same person boldly said we donât have it.if we call them they also donât pick up and donât answer properly. Most unfriendly and unhelpful customer service. The sad part is for this restaurant I have recommended more than ten people to eat their r food. And look where their service and food quality went now. Today was my last day there. I will never go there. And Iâm highly recommending my all family, friends, colleagues and followers not to go there. Donât waste your money here. For the owner I would like to say donât be greedy. Teach your employees proper customer service. Inspect your kitchen properly. Or else your restaurant will be closed one day because of unhealthy and unhygienic conditions of...
Read moreSO you know when you're really hungry and craving desi food really bad???!!! Well go anywhere but here! I am so disappointed in the customer service it's ridiculous. Every time I go there its some horror story. I once went there and the waiter served everyone else with naan except us. People that came after us left and we were still sitting around waiting....and not to mention they forgot one of the dishes we had ordered and made us wait.....and then listen to this the cherry topper....they didn't even cook the karahi all the way. Managers response oh I'm so sorry the waiter is new and don't worry I'll give you a few dollars discount! And since I hadn't learned my lesson I went to pick up the normal dish again and ordered carry out this time! It's Ramadan so you want you're food to perfection if you're taking it for some one else. The karahi wasn't cooked properly so I decided to call the manager after I left my family's house whose mother had just passed away. I spoke to the manager, who hung up on me! To this disappointment I called him back told him I just wanted him to hear us out we didn't want anything. Obviously he didn't want to listen so whatever, never going back there again will tell all my friends not to go there as well! I rather drive the extra 20-30 min to go else where! Customer service and loyalty is one of the most important thing these days, if you can't do that right might as well go to hell! And that's exactly what I told the manager after he hung up on me!...
