I’m going to be honest, i was not impressed with this doughnut shop. I was surprised because they seem to get great reviews. First, let me start with price. I had 6 doughnuts (1/2 dozen) and a small chai and it cost 27.00. 3.50 a doughnut is high in my opinion. 21.00 for half dozen, if you want half a dozen of mini doughnuts which are slightly larger than a doughnut hole, then you can spend slightly less at $15. They want nearly a dollar per doughnut hole at $10 for 12. Next their flavors look very interesting, and unique but when you bite in to them they are lack luster. The cake doughnuts are pretty dry. I tried the melon, butter, chocolate, maple, berry, and plain. The melon had no hint of melon. Berry could be compared to a kids cereal. Chocolate and maple were the best. I ended up throwing the chai and doughnuts away as I was not pleased with the texture or flavor. Overall, the doughnuts were lack luster. I may stop buy another time to try out the breakfast sandwiches, but for the high price tag on this breakfast item I expected high quality.

I order the 1/2 docent specialty donuts . Place looks clean and cute, there's a side walk sit. Down area very nice clean and cozy Its a 2.9 stars for me ! Heres why Service so so... she could be more welcomed. For people who dosent lived in Washington/Virginia yep. I com from NY so ... you know. 1 blueberry donut nice consistency on the frosting but the filling alone bland 2 chocolate weird onion donut. Oreo dosent feel the onion was like a baggel like and that I liked. 3 raspberry pistachio (need more pistachio) the fluffy donut was good . 4 bacon maple (bacon 🥓 was buuuurn) 5 the cinnamon ginder stuck thing was a disaster 😫 no taste crumble all the way no consistency the filling i don't even know what it is . !??? 6 crunchy donut more like a block of ??!!# huh? I don't even know what in it ! Over all 2.9 out of 5 cause I couldnt describe the flavors on the donuts and thats a problem for consumers who cant retain a 4 name donut. (4 ingredients in 1 donut)

Prepare yourself for a tantalizing expedition into a realm of unparalleled pastry perfection. Good Company Doughnuts & Pastries has taken the art of donut-making to dizzying new heights. Brace yourself for an unforgettable encounter with three extraordinary creations:

The Enchanting Bowtie: Imagine, if you will, a donut that effortlessly balances elegance and whimsy. The Bowtie is a mesmerizing twist on the classic glazed donut, infused with captivating notes of honey. As you take your first bite, you are instantly enveloped in a symphony of flavors that will leave you spellbound. 1/3/25 Updated Review: Good Company Donuts has been a go-to spot for me several times, but I’d say the experience is consistently hit or miss—especially when it comes to the donuts.

Today, I picked up an assortment for my family, including the German Chocolate Cake, Earl of Raspberry, Sour Cream Cake, Strawberry Glaze, Nutella Almond Toffee, and a Glazed Twist. The standout was the Earl of Raspberry, which had great flavor and plenty of raspberry filling. The German Chocolate Cake donut was dry, but the coconut pecan filling and buttercream saved it. The Sour Cream Cake and Glazed Twist were better warmed up, with a nice amount of glaze. Unfortunately, the Strawberry Glaze and Nutella Almond Toffee were the most disappointing. Both yeast donuts lacked flavor, with the strawberry needing more glaze and the Nutella donut being underwhelming overall.

I also tried an Apple Cinnamon Scone and a Chai Latte. The scone’s texture was very crumbly, dry, and left an odd aftertaste—almost like the batter wasn’t mixed well. The chai latte was average and nothing special, but I was disappointed to be charged extra for oat milk. I think plant-based milk shouldn’t come with an upcharge, especially when it’s a healthier option.

My son had a BLT sandwich and really enjoyed it, especially the ciabatta bread, though he ordered it plain without the sauces or vinaigrette.

Overall, while the food items like sandwiches seem to shine here, the donuts are inconsistent. I really wish they lived up to their potential.

9/2024 Review — The overnight oats are so good! They do have other vegan options, I have just not tried them yet. My daughter ordered the Breakfast Burrito Egg & Cheese. It’s a big burrito so she had leftovers. She said it was really good. My kiddos have tried various donuts from here. Some they liked others...

Strange experience. Walked up to get my food and it took the guy about 3 minutes to put his gloves on and then started intently scratching the counter with the end part of a pen.. I took that maybe he was just out of it so I started just telling him what I wanted and that seemed to catch his attention for a moment. Then it was my boyfriends turn to order, but the server immediately lost attention again, turned the other way and started having a casual conversation with another employee.

Got to the cashier to order our coffee and checkout. I asked for a hazelnut latte and she asked if I wanted creamer...I confusingly said no...why would I add creamer into my latte. After checking out I realized I also wanted one of the bottled orange juices, and so I told the cashier I would purchase separately, she said "OK!". When it came time to pay not even a minute later, she was just entirely out of it as well, waiting for me to walk away and forgetting I still had to pay for this juice..ok. Maybe its something in the air, but the attention span here is minimal.

Ended up receiving my coffee, which for some reason the cashier put in as an iced coffee with hazelnut. At this point I became completely frustrated and had my boyfriend go in and fix. They told him that I said I didn't want creamer. Why should I have to say I want creamer if I'm ordering a latte, which typically comes with MILK?! Why would you put my order in as an iced coffee when I asked for a latte? These kids need to get their heads straight, it should not be that hard to handle some donuts and a cash register. The donuts were okay, I got the mocha donut and it was extremely sweet, my boyfriend got the croissant donut which was very plain.

I'd say the best part about this place was the bottled...
