We had a party of 11 and we came in at 10:30 and they close at 12 so we know we came late thus we were very accommodating. They sat us at 11 and told us 11:30 is last call. We ate for 30 minutes and were charged $420+ for a party of 11 that included kids. After sitting there for a while, the waitress Ellie told us Itās all you can eat but youāre only allowed two meats per grill (our table had only 2 grills) before ordering anything more. Why couldnāt you have told us when we checked in? They only gave us 30 mins for everything. Needless to say we didnāt eat anything really. Within the 30 minutes, our server was very rude and didnāt help with anything. Oh well, she might have had a bad day. However, what we couldnāt stand was that she pushed us out of the way while we were sitting talking to our family because we were in her way. She could have said excuse me or slightly move us not ram into us between the chairs. She knocked my rice right out of my hands. Not only so, she brought the burning fire grill right over our heads in a straight line to the end of the table. Mind yāall there was lots of room behind us she can move the grill. The fire was passed on top of 4 of my family members and it burned my cousin, a little girl. She now has two blistering burn bumps on her hand. Not only so, they sat us at two different tables and still charged us the 20% gratuity requirement for the second table even though there was only 4 people. Iāve never been anywhere this bad⦠the food was not anything special and Ellie is the worst Iāve ever seen. I rarely leave reviews but this made me so mad. We paid almost $70 in tip just to get burned. We didnāt tell the manager and just left after paying but my whole family left very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I decided to try a new restaurant for lunch and chose to try a Korean Steakhouse. The name of this steakhouse is Iron Age Steakhouse located in Atlanta, Ga in the Toco Hills area. A heads up, I know the hours of operations says that they close at 12am, but they do stop seating at 11pm so you can enjoy the experience. This steakhouse was amazing! It was clean they follow the social distancing rules and regulations and the service was superb! This place is super nice! The decor hasĀ a clean look with dark and bright red accents. They have an open bar and the service is super friendly. If you have never been to a Korean Steakhouse, make sure to let the host know. We were paired with one of the kindest and most informational staff. She walked us through the menu and how to properly use the grill. After five minutes of getting to know us, the rest of the experience felt like we knew each other for a while.
Menu
Endless meat and sides until you are full and there are no to go plates. Monday thur Friday you have two options and they are lunch and dinner. But weekend thereās only dinner.Ā We had the lunch because of the time of day we went, but was given the option for dinner. There are differences between the lunch and dinner menu, such asĀ you have more options to choose from like seafood, shrimp and spicy squid for dinner only, as well as the price difference. It is $20 per person for lunch and $27 for dinner. So A+ for affordability.
We did not have drinks because it was pretty early in the day (no judgement) we also had some more errands to run.
We totally recommend this restaurant as a must try if youāre in the neighborhood. This will be one of our regular places for a date...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's more about having fun with a lot of food, than great food.
I stopped by here on Saturday afternoon. It was mostly filled with larger groups. It was recommended by some friends of mine who can really eat their fill. It's an all-you-can-eat experience.
The server asked me if I had been here before and I said no. Seems like that would be a cue to tell me what was going on. Instead, she asked me what meat I would like and I started with pork belly and some vegetables.
They provided a salad and Banchan. The salad was tasty.
She brought out some meat and put it on the grill. She set the vegetables on a plate on the side. From there, it was just a confusing guess about what to do and what she would do.
At a point, she came back and chopped up the meat a little. Then, it looked like it was getting a little too done, so I cut some off and put some on my plate. She didn't come by much so, I assumed that I should start taking over the process. It is dark in there and hard to tell if the meat is overdone, or underdone.
In the end, I had some spicy squid and lemon chicken as well. The chicken was tender and tasty. The rest of the meat was pretty irregular; sometimes tender, sometimes tough, sometimes overcooked.
There were lots of people here on dates or having special events. It provides an experience something like a Japanese steakhouse but without the entertaining chef and perfectly cooked food.
I've been to a couple other Korean barbecue places, but not in a while. It was never confusing and the staff seemed much...
