This Is Wings & Seafood — Restaurant in Pikesville

Let me start with atmosphere, other than Jilly's. This is the crowdest spot for Pick Up in Pikesville! It is amazing how they keep the multitude of orders straight! I get it, but wh3n you call in and take way past the time they tell you, you STILL GOTTA WAIT! They do not package tul you get there and pay because they do not take payments over the phone. The food is delicious and cooked your way. Their fried rice is da bomb, but they should pre-steam the peas and carrots because they can still be hard when the rice is done! The sea food boils and entres do not miss! Welp how you want your wings: whole, all flats, all dummies, any flavor.... same with your seafood, pick a flavor and a prepared method; you gonba be straight! If you got time, this is your spot, if you rushin' 4get it! if you dashin' or any other delivery method give the driver some slack because A WAIT was in their life, that is why you didn't go yourself, you ain't wanna wait😂. I’ve been in my “must have chicken”’era lately, so I’ve been making it a point to check out all my local chicken joints. I’m new to this area and I heard this place had pretty good wings, among other things. I ordered their 10p wing combo with fried rice and onions. Half honey garlic/garlic parm wings. Sorry no pics. The food looked and smelled amazing. Nice presentation. The sauces for both flavors were bold and really tasty. The main disappointment here was you could tell the wings were either refried/rebaked/ re-something. They weren’t fresh dipped. Or maybe just old. They Didn’t have that nice grease pop when you bite down and the meat was hard. And this particular meat is best served soft lol 😂🥴 The way the wings were cooked reminds me of an upgraded America’s best. I think if I had freshly cooked wings, they would have gotten at least a 4.5.. My rice was also a bit hard but again, great flavor. The service was amazing and the woman at the front counter was very pleasant. Just based off my interaction with her, I’d give them another try, plus I’d like to try a few other things...

Tonight I ordered a 10 piece boneless wings meal.I noticed that the chicken pieces are huge.Literally like whole chicken thighs.I did eat some, each bite I would take I would look at it to see if it's real chicken and it did look like it..so I'm still eating,but curious in the back of my mind, as to whether this is real chicken.. there are YouTube videos of showing how China cuts corners and sell and produce fake foods. low and behold as I took another bite, I could see that the chicken that was on my fork had some clear gooey plastic type of filling inside of it, firmly pressed on what looks like the chicken meat.so I immediately spit the rest of it out that I've just been..No,it wasn't soggy breading on the inside of the boneless wing.It was some sort of filler and who knows what else. they depend on the sauce to mask, what's really being served.I am never eating from any Chinese place again.And I suggest that you don't either. You are not getting real chicken at all.. even at the hibachi spots.do...
