I'd give this Zoes 0 stars if I could. Totally disappointed, as a fan of zoes we used to drive to the Fairfax location which gave us big portions and well worth the money. The Gainesville location barely puts anything in the salad. Everytime I've tried to order their Greek salad it's always missing something, either chick peas or chicken. I went the week they opened and there were some issues, but figured it was the first week so a little room for error. Went 2 times after the first week and same problems. Tonight was the last straw. My husband picked up dinner for the family and again my salad had no chick peas plus the chicken was so dry I couldn't eat it. To top it off if you want extra salad dressing you have to pay for it! I was so excited for Zoes opening, I've been 5 times since it opened and disappointed every time! The food is bland overall. $12.75 for chicken salad sandwich - bread was over toasted and chicken was runny like all mayo. I got the salmon kabobs 3 times and it's always very dry. One time, I didnt receive rice with the kabobs and took it back. The manager I assume, tried to tell me I needed to look under the vegetables because rice can be hidden. What?! She must have registered the look I didnt exactly mean to give her and asked the kitchen to prepare the side of rice. I sure wasnt going to give my entree completely back and risk something happening to my food. I tried Zoe’s twice. The first time the food was really good so I told my husband that he had to try it as well. We went there on a Saturday night. My nephew and husband both ordered the steak kabobs. Both of their kabobs came out ice cold, like they were just taken out of the refrigerator. We sent them back, but they were never brought back to our table. I asked the manager about the kabobs and she apologized and said they were taking longer than expected. However when the kabobs came back out, they were cold again. We tried to get the manager’s attention who was talking with other guests, but he never looked our way.
