really wish i could give 0 stars to this location. my boyfriend and i have ordered from the gainesville location 3 times total, 2 times online and 1 in person. we have had NOTHING but negative experiences from here. the first time we ordered there were several items missing from the bowls/items we didn’t even add. we called and all the manager did was tell us next time we come in, we’ll get a meal for free (they ended up never honoring). not even an apology. the second time the food took 30 minutes to come out despite the fact there was no one in the store. we decided to try again one last time several months later, aka today, and will never return after today. i ordered tacos and despite the fact each taco was supposed to be identical, i received 3 completely different tacos, all 3 lacking chicken flavor(saying that there were 3 pieces of chicken in each would be generous), i bit into another one hoping it would be better, just to get a mouthful of PURE SOUR CREAM. the food here is also extremely bland and doesnt live up to chipotle’s standards in the slightest. i’ve worked in the food industry for 8 years so i always try to give the benefit of the doubt in situations like these but based off of the endless negative reviews all complaining about the same exact issues, clearly this location does not care about the success of their store or customer service in the slightest.
also dont bother trying to call if you want to speak to a the store directly to get a refund/complain. you’ll end up wasting 15 minutes of your time trying to work your way around an automated machine just to reach another answering machine at the end.
0/10 would NEVER recommend. corporate- do better for your company this is honestly a whole...
Read moreUsually ordering Chipotle online is a breeze but this time the website crashed my phone so, I had to restart my phone losing my original order I had begun with in the first place but I didn't know that since the bag icon constantly appeared empty after multiple site refreshes and even logging out of the account.
Anyhow, I manage to complete my order with everything else my family wanted. En route, I get my confirm email and it shows 3 items, not 4 like I had originally ordered. I attempted, 4 times to order online before my boyfriend and I got to Chipotle but the website said error processing and no, this had nothing to do with any lack of money by any means.
We finally arrive at Chipotle, it's moderately busy for a rainy Friday. I goto the front and stand aside waiting to be noticed by the male cashier. He greets me very nicely, asks how he can help and grabs my order. I inform him an order got missed, could we please add another? He suddenly gets the most disgusted look on his face. He asks, "Well what do you want?" I said just a chicken burrito and he pounds on the register and rings me up. He then shoves my credit card back at me and demands I go to the back of the line.
First, one would obviously think I go to the back of the line with my receipt to receive my order and show my purchase is valid. Second, why is someone like this snob allowed to work in customer service? I have always worked in customer service and have never seen such disrespect for such a simple, reasonable request. I wasn't some drunk being belligerent over some tacos. I kindly asked to add a...
Read moreWe love Chipotle. We were traveling through the area and stopped for dinner. The food was good, as usual, but the experience was poor at best. It was as if there was no management. My husband ordered a burrito and before I could say what I wanted, the girl at the counter pulled out a burrito she'll and asked what rice I wanted...I wasn't planning on a burrito, but I went along with it. She didn't ask me what kind I wanted and assumed I wanted meat. I didn't; I'm a vegetarian. So there were no fajitas and she didn't offer any to me anyways...and have me the tiniest scoop of rice (I don't get beans, so this was also disappointing). When the next guy got my burrito, he realized there were no fajitas and that they weren't offered, since I had only a tiny bit if rice in my burrito... So he checked and the cooks said it would be about 5 minutes, so he didn't offer them to me either. Then there was no cashier and a line of people formed behind us. A cashier finally came up but then realized they didn't have any cups when we asked for drinks. She disappeared again for a few minutes before checking us out and take another few minutes to open the package of cups and get them situated. It ended up taking us quite a while to actually check out...and there was no one in line when we got there. And on top of it, all the tables were dirty. Not just a little here and there, but lots of trash on every table. The food WAS good, but the experience was terrible. The whole thing was...
