I ordered from the Wendy's app so that they could have extra time to make sure they had enough nuggets since I ordered the family pack. Even so, when I did arrive at the location, I pulled up to the window and waited a minute or two and then was asked to pull into a parking space off to the side. I sat there waiting for over 10 minutes, while several other cars were also parkef and then received their orders. As the employee walked away from delivering another order to a car next to me, I asked him if he knew when my order would be ready. He asked for my name again and said he'd be right back. When he came out, he walked up to an empty parked car first, then realizing his mistake, came to my car on the wrong side. So I put the passenger side window down for him. He laid the food down on the seat, and he walked away without saying a word. No apologies for the long wait. As I'm looking over the order to make sure it's correct, I noticed that the frosty's were wrong, as I had ordered one chocolate and one orange. I received two orange frosties. So I picked up one of them, walked back into the restaurant, and had to wait two or three minutes just for somebody to finally come up to the counter. The gentleman who brought me my order was the one who walked up and just looked at me. Didn't ask if I needed help. But I walked up to him and said I think I may have gotten the wrong frosty order. It was supposed to be one orange and one chocolate. He says that they don't have chocolate right now. Half of the machine is broken. That's why I gave you two orange and gave them to you in the large size instead of the medium that you ordered. This solution would have been fine if he had told me that when he gave them to me. But I thought that it was just a mistake in the order and was going to get it fixed. His tone was very condescending, like it was my issue when all he had to do was tell me about it when he delivered the order. I was very upset...
Read moreI just tried to eat there last week. After my last bad experience over 4 years ago, I said I would never eat at Wendy's again. I think it should be said that this is the FM78 Wendy's I will never eat again. A few days before eating at the FM78, I was down on the coast, and my wife had never eaten at Wendy's before. So I thought maybe it changed. The food there was great. Well, fast forward to last week, my wife said lets get Wendy's again. So we stopped by the FM78 location. And it was a terrible experience. It was like the people there didn't want to be there, or we bothered them from talking on their cell phones, or they just didn't like us. The way you get feelings, people just hate you. As we walked in, the two ladies gave us attitude. And slowing came upfront from the back. Holding cell phone the whole time. The parking lot was empty, so we thought they might be closed, but at 5:30, don't think so. It was like she didn't want to take our order. She kept looking back to her friend, also giving my wife dirty looks. As I was placing my order, I realized that I should just leave. I got to the end. I'm still trying to be positive. She yellled out "you done". Yep, I am done and just left. She didn't care and walked away. My wife thought she said something like, "They wasted my time." In the car, I said that is why I don't do Wendy's. I again think it is just this one location. The one in the Forum is nice. Last 3 times I’ve ordered they’ve done me wrong each time always substituting my regular nuggets to spicy when I specifically say regular… I wanted to give them a chance at redemption no matter what I order they ALWAYS get it wrong. Do not expect your order to ever be correct here if you’re ordering online. They must have children working back there because they can’t ever read it right. I had ordered a regular burger with nothing on it, just plain mustard and ketchup… proceeded to get TWO burgers (what??) with EVERYTHING on it. And I had ordered one medium fries and a 4 piece regular nugget… and they couldn’t even do that right. I got TWO 10 piece SPICY nuggets?? Let alone I asked for regular as I’m allergic to spice so those 2 ten piece spicy nuggets got thrown away immediately. I didn’t even ask for that!! And I didn’t get my fries I asked for. I feel bad for whoever’s order i received because it sure wasn’t mine! It was inedible and only thing I got that I asked for was the cinnamon roll. I only got $11 out of my $25 order back.
