I use a wheelchair so I choose the curbside option vs the go inside to pick up option
I do this because if I were to take my wheelchair inside
it takes me 5-10 minutes to take my wheelchair and put it together each transfer I do , so to take it out thats 10 minutes and to put the wheelchair back in the car its another 10 minutes
so in order to save me 20 minutes and alot of back pain, I just choose the "curbside pick up" option
if I were to take my wheelchair inside and then put the food on my lap to take it back to the car... since the food is usually hot I can burn myself
so again, just to avoid 2nd or 3rd degree burns I just decide to make my life a bit easier and just choose the curbside pick up option
today when I arrived to the curbside pick up, upon arrival I tried to call the store to let them know I was here for my order and that they can bring my curbside order out to my car and I am ready for them
I called them 10-15 times and waited for 30minutes and no one picked up the phone.
I noticed a staff member walking by and yelled and waved them to come over so I could get some help
I told the girl I was paralyzed and that I usually order curbside pick up for this reason cause it makes my life easier
I told her I tried calling in multiple times on the number they had listed to call for curbside pick up
I then asked her why they do not pick up their phone
She then proceeded to say "were busy' and look at me like I was and idiot for wanting curbside pick up after I clearly picked the curbside pick up option
I did get my order at the end of the night but man what a hassle and my pizza is hella...
Read moreI am not one to typically leave reviews but I believe that in this case it’s necessary because it is the first time I’ve had a bad experience at this location. We’ve been coming here since it opened last year, and service has always been incredible- well staffed, really friendly and kind workers, incredible pizza, always hot and with the right amount of toppings, and a fantastic manager that made the restaurant feel very welcoming.
But we went two weeks ago and noticed that there was a change in management, and unfortunately the quality of the restaurant is not the same. For starters, the restaurant was FREEZING- and when I asked if they could please turn off the fan right above of our heads, the manager told me that he really couldn’t do it because that one switch was connected to like ten more fans, but the one a few tables next to us was off. He told me that he would turn it off only if it really bothered us- but we wouldn’t have been asking if it wasn’t THAT cold. 80% of the people eating there are in the outside seating area because of how cold it was- within ten minutes, my pizza was cold, and that had never been an issue before. Also, my father in law asked for chicken in his pizza and the girl working barely put any chicken on it, the topping station was not as clean as usual and two weeks ago when I went the cashier that took care of us had a very bad attitude.
We truly hope that this is a one time thing because up until now it had never been an issue, we’re gonna come back because Blaze is our favorite pizza restaurant in Lake Nona and it deserves a second chance, but I really hope that it goes back to the old standards that the preview manager...

I hand out low reviews VERY rarely. I'm generally pretty easy and flexible as a customer. This is one of those rare low reviews.
The weird: At first I thought my baby was acting out uncharacteristically, but then I noticed that ALL the infants and toddlers in the restaurant were either screeching or throwing tantrums starting around 1 minute after coming in the building. My baby suddenly acted normal outside, and then started screeching again every time we brought her back inside. Other kids had similar behavior. I have no idea if this is a decor thing, or something in the air, or some kind of sound; it was a total surprise.
Staff, process, and speed: The staff are trying desperately to keep up with a huge line that's impossible with the system in place. They have the 2 quietest staff members totally wasted on wandering around carrying orders and whispering the names for the orders. Gotta have louder people calling the names on the orders to move things along. It took over an hour when the app quoted 15 to 20 minutes.
Health: One of the ingredients on my pizza was spoiled in a way that tasted like hairspray and left me with food poisoning.
