I’ve eaten oxtail at top-notch Jamaican restaurants in Maryland and even in Jamaica, but hands down, this place serves the absolute best oxtail I’ve ever tasted!

My first try was their oxtail chop cheese...totally blew me away. I had to come back for the oxtail platter just to confirm it wasn’t a fluke, and wow, it was even better than I remembered.

Best platter I’ve ever had, no question. The food is incredible, and the staff are very welcoming. If you’re an oxtail fan, this spot will raise your expectations sky-high. If you’re new to oxtail, brace yourself....after trying theirs, you’ll be spoiled because nothing else will compare....

I rarely leave reviews, but this food truck deserves a warning sign. First off, the prices are ridiculously high for what you get. I paid nearly $20 for a sandwich that looked (and tasted) like it was thrown together in the dark.

To make matters worse, the soda can they handed me had visible dirt and some kind of food crust stuck to the top—absolutely disgusting. If this is how they treat something as simple as a can, I don’t even want to think about how the food is kept.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered the oxtail (owner’s suggestion—he was super friendly!), mac & cheese, smoked turkey cabbage, sweet potatoes, and cornbread. Every bite was packed with flavor and soul. The oxtail was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the whole plate felt like comfort and care in a takeout box.

As a writer at Big Bowl of Popcorn, I’m always chasing good stories—and this meal told one. Vibe was great, service was warm, and I’ll definitely be back. A must-try if you love soulful,...
