MAJOR ELECTRICAL HAZARD that the owner has REFUSED to repair!! Our 3 kids, wife & I love this place and have been regulars for a long time. But last week we all went in & I touched the ice cream freezer and was shocked pretty hard!! I’ve been shocked numerous times, but this freezer has to be pulling some major amperage. When it hit me, I actually tripped the breaker because the girl was like, uugghh, it did the same thing to me just the other day. I asked if it had happened before & was told it was for sure not the first time. But was told the owner didn’t believe it was shocking anyone last time he had been told. Now I’m NOT MAD it hit me, I’m more concerned that it could’ve so easily be an exited little kid looking forward to a major sugar rush. So it’s been a solid week since last time visit. We went in just earlier today & first thing I asked was if it had been fixed. Embarrassingly, they told me the owner had told them “I’ll get to it when I get around to it”…….. Absolutely NOT Acceptable!! Blatantly clear he is not concerned the least bit about his “locally owned” company or for the safety of anyone else. And this becomes even more obvious once you start looking around @ the current condition of the facility. Read moreA few years ago, my grandpa would pick me up from school every Wednesday and take me to marble slab. We would go so regularly that the staff knew us pretty well. One girl in particular knew us especially well. Out of all of the visits we made, I never once caught her name. All I knew about her was that she was blonde and was one of the managers at the store. She was always so kind and patient with my grandpa who has alzheimers. Eventually, life happened and my family moved to another town, and we had to put my grandpa in a memory care facility. Today, I came back in town with my choir to compete at state. We stopped to eat lunch and I decided to stop by Marble Slab after lunch. The place was absolutely packed with kids, and the only person working was the kind blonde girl. She was crazy busy, but she managed to serve everyone with a smile. Read moreWe ordered a cookie cake from this GAC. I preordered and prepaid 19 days in advance of my sons birthday. My husband called to see if the cookie cake was ready to be picked up. They could not find my order. After several back and forth calls and me sharing the email confirmation twice they said they could get it ready within an hour. We called back and asked will it be ready they said yes. The conversation turned heated. The owner basically told us we were in the wrong and canceled our order. The customer is never wrong. I paid for a service and didn’t receive the service. You wouldn’t have known I needed my order if I had not called. What would you have told me had I turned up at 130 like my confirmation said. But you know what your not going to ruin my sons 6th birthday a lovely baker in littler rock agreed to make the cookie cake with trains for $10 less. I hope your future customers don’t get...
