I asked at the drive-thru window how much the frappes are for a medium and a large, the girl named Samantha told me that they were 3.29 plus tax I told her there 2.99 on the sign, I would like for you to change the price to 2.99 as you have advertised out here. She told me she couldn't change the price and I asked her to get her manager. She said if you want a frappe your gonna have to pull around to the first window and talk to my manager. The manager who met me at the pay window told me that I was wrong that it didn't say 2.99 and I told him that it did. To come on out and we could go back and take a look at it together. He said your looking at the wrong thing! I asked for the number to the home office was told to pull forward to the next window. So I did. The supposed manager who had his front lip pierced, ratty nasty looking hair and clothes, told me that he hadn't got the number yet. I said so you're telling me that the customer is wrong and that I don't know what I'm looking at. There was another guy in a white shirt with a tie who looked like he might be a manager, he was a nice kid and tried to tell me truth about the sign, that the company would change the price in the computer but leave the sign the same for a month or two while the people whom work there jockey the complaints. Not one had their name on their shirt. They were never going to change the price of the frappe. The last thing I got was a piece of paper with an 800 number on it, and they gave me a false number to the home office!!! My 9 yr old says, mom, we chose the wrong McDonald's. We pulled back around and I took a picture of the menu board. Yup... 2.99
We made no purchases at this location as we were treated very poorly! I've never been so disgusted with a McDonald's in my entire life!
We went down the interstate about 10 miles and stopped at another one. Where the price showed 2.99 on the sign... and that is what it wrang up as. I asked the young lady if the same company owned her location and the locations in Conway. She said she wasn't sure as some had been sold. She ask if she could help me with anything and why I was asking. I explained to her what had happened. She said if that would have happened at her store that they would have given me the item for the price that was on the sign, that they would have given it to me for free, or given it to me at a reduced price to make up for their own error. I thanked her and pulled forward. Received our order and we left.
In closing never go to the McDonald's on Oak Street in...
Read moreGoing through the drive thru is always complicated for no reason. Have 2 speakers but only use one, and then when I go up to the 2nd speaker do I finally hear the 2nd speaker being used. Go up to pay and am interacting with the man with the sad voice that sounds like he doesn’t wanna be there (looks like it too). Then we get to the window to get our food, a smoothie, nuggets and fries and a pumpkin pie. 4 things, no meal. They hand us a drink, we realize we didn’t order one after she handed it to us and her closing the window. We wait for her to come back but they’re staring at the order screen looking confused. Finally we get her attention and say we didn’t order a drink, but a smoothie (which we saw she had). She looks back at her manager and I think heard her say, “they had the smoothie.” She hands the smoothie to us and then other bag. We’re missing the pie. We let them know and that’s when they tell us that they didn’t have pie. We asked the guy on the intercom if they had pie, he said yes, now she says no. She says they took it off and we asked for a receipt to make sure, she THEN says that we paid for an entirely different order so that’s how we were comped. I don’t know why they just didn’t interact with their customers to actually figure out what was ordered rather than stare blankly at a screen that’s not changing what it says. Cause then even the fries I wanted, had no salt. So whatever order they gave me, wasn’t even mine and don’t bother to ask to figure it out and had to end up going back and ask if I could get the fries I ordered. “Okay.” Is all I’m met with. Sure, a “sorry about that.” After food is handed to me, but the way it was handled in general...
Read moreVERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE: This mcdonald’s only tastes good at night. The breakfast is good but going right after breakfast is a no no. Terrible idea. I had to learn the hard way to not go right after breakfast ends… So what happened was, I went there right after breakfast ended & it tasted like the fries had been sitting in grease for an hour. & if you know that taste, then you know it’s so nasty. I was hoping that at least the burger would be good, but nope. It had half a gallon of ketchup on it. I wiped some of the ketchup off but it still tasted like I was just eating textured ketchup. Ate about 5 fries & 2 bites of my burger before throwing it away. Maybe they have a really dumb “cook” back there, or maybe it’s their attempt of being “fast food,” by cooking the fries too early & rushing on the burgers. If this mcdonald’s would take their time fixing the food in the mornings & not cook the fries an hour before breakfast ends, it might be better. That’s why I think this specific mcdonald’s tastes better at night. The fries are fresh at night & it seems like the people who make the burgers aren’t half asleep. I’m very passionate about food & I can tell a major difference when it comes to food quality. You can trust me when I tell you, DONT GO RIGHT AFTER BREAKFAST! I gave it 3 stars because it has good...
