A heads up to anyone with food allergies — be very careful going to Texas Roadhouse. They have (what we thought) a very robust allergen menu. Our 13 month old son has a severe egg allergy. We called ahead of time and they told us they could accommodate us and that the menu item we were looking at did not contain egg. We go tonight and look at the allergen menu for the rolls. It says the rolls do not contain egg. Before we feed them to our baby, we double check with our server. She comes back and says they do contain egg. This worried us and we show her on the allergen menu where it said the rolls do not contain eggs. We order the kids ribs. We called and asked about them earlier, they say egg free on the allergen menu, and the waitress checked. 15 minutes go by and a different worker comes to our table to tell us the ribs actually do have egg in them — in the seasoning. We expressed our concerns and frustrations with this worker because we did everything we could to make sure our son could eat there by calling ahead and following the allergen menu. We told them while we appreciate them triple checking and telling us, they need to do something about their allergen menu. We were then met with rudeness and the worker was not receptive at all to what we were saying. Unfortunately, we had to leave because there were no safe options for our son.
Other than this incident, my husband and I have always loved Texas Roadhouse and their food. We would go often. Unfortunately, we will not return because we do not trust anything on their menu to be safe...
Read moreWe love Texas Roadhouse, but we have been disappointed the last few times we've gone to this location. The rattlesnake bites are always excellent. The rolls are hit or miss. Sometimes they are fresh and hot. Sometimes cold and hard. One time, my husband had a piece of plastic inside one of his rolls (baked in) and we filled out the "How was your experience?" email, and did not hear back from the restaurant at all, so that was upsetting. We always have dressing or butters missing from our orders, when we request extra ranch or cinnamon butter. For every item you order, they told me we are supposed to get 2 rolls. We ordered 5 things and they were only going to give us 4 rolls, instead of 10. The bacon cheeseburger looked delicious, but was extremely dry, no condiments were provided. I pay at least $60-70 when we do pick up an order....it'd just be nice to get what we paid for. The to-go staff is always friendly. However, when picking up an order, It should be standard procedure to go through the order with the customer before they leave. Even if to double-check or triple-check to make sure everything is there. If something is missing, they should fix it without making the customer feel bad for asking. Again....we love Texas Roadhouse! These are just some of the things we've experienced that could...
Read moreTonight was my 1st time going to Texas Roadhouse. I moved here to Arkansas 2 months ago, a California native and I can not describe my experience as anything less than OUTSTANDING! The waitress was patient, and after my daughter explained it was my 1st time there; she provided just the right amount of time for me to decide and didn’t forget we were there. The manager came to the table to welcome me, something I have never experienced before and will never forget. The food came out quick, both the appetizers and our meal. Everything was cooked perfectly. My daughter is 8 months pregnant and was impressed that her well-done steak was not dry! The food had a nice flavor and was perfect temperature, a great chef! We were seated with a basket of fresh rolls that my 19 month old grandson loved! Between the rolls and the cheese fries, he was too full to eat his chicken after eating one bite. We don’t go out to dinner very often but when we do, I will be sure to go to this location even with it being 40 minutes away. My oldest daughter is going to be here next month and we are definitely going to dinner. The price was reasonable but there isn’t a price I wouldn’t be willing to pay for service like this. Thank you so much for the great first experience. I appreciate...
