Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For date night we chose Vito Marcello's Italian Bistro and wanted to share our experience, starting with the appetizers. The shrimp cocktail was decent, but it didn't quite leave a lasting impression. It was enjoyable, but I was expecting a bit more. However, the real star of the appetizers was the bruschetta pomodoro. Oh my, it was absolutely amazing! The combination of ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, and a hint of garlic on the perfectly toasted bread created a burst of flavors that had me hooked from the first bite. The balance of acidity, sweetness, and herbaceousness was spot on, making it a standout dish that I would highly recommend. Moving on to the main course, my wife opted for the spaghetti with clam sauce, while I chose the Fettuccine Frutti Di Mare. Both dishes exceeded our expectations and made our dinner truly memorable. The spaghetti with clam sauce was cooked to perfection, with each strand of pasta coated in a fragrant and rich sauce. The clams were tender and added a lovely briny note to the dish, enhancing the overall flavor profile. As for the Fettuccine Frutti Di Mare, it was a seafood lover's dream come true. The creamy sauce was a perfect canvas for the variety of fresh seafood that adorned the dish. Succulent shrimp, tender calamari, and plump mussels were all present, creating a delightful medley of flavors and textures. It truly felt like a feast from the sea, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. Overall, the restaurant provided a memorable dining experience. While the shrimp cocktail was just okay, the bruschetta pomodoro stole the show with its incredible flavors. The spaghetti with clam sauce and Fettuccine Frutti Di Mare were both outstanding main courses, delivering on taste, quality, and satisfaction. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, especially for those seeking a delightful seafood-inspired meal.

We ordered takeout and did catering for 50 ppl. They are amazing ---- the food, the people! Some of the best pasta I've had - esp the bologonese and ghili marcello (the tulip pasta is fun). Everyone loved the pasta primavera too with its large amt of veggies. Ordering catering online made my life so easy and the prices were very transparent along with serving sizes. One week advance notice is all you need. I had to adjust my order down and they were more than accommodating as well as dietary restrictions like gluten free and vegan. I had a hard time finding catering/restaurant in North Conway that doesn't cost me $40pp+ that wasn't cold sandwiches (~$15 pp here + drinks=$22pp) . I'm always eerie on pasta since that seems way too common and food is always ehhh .. but Vito proved me wrong. They're worth it! Everything comes hot - we left it in an unturned on oven to keep warm for 1 hour and then put it onto chafing water bath for the rehearsal dinner. Ordered 3 full pans of pasta with half pan leftover -- that's a win. I had my friend pick it up and they said they were super nice about loading it into their cars and all. The salad and their dressing is yumm. The only thing I was so-so on was the tiramisu -- not mascarpone cheese -- more like a whip cream/fluff sort of. It was decadent. Half pan is all you need -- it's very deep! Blew my expectations. Thank you Vito!

Fantastic hidden gem in North Conway where Italian food is hard to come by.... especially exceptional Italian food! We started off with the warm basket of fresh bread that was sent to our table with olive oil and park cheese for dipping. Trust me, you'll ask for seconds! We then moved onto our appetizer, the brushetta. Perfectly made, I just wish there was more! Our house salads came and they were served nice and chilled with their own homemade dressing. Very very good. I ordered the chicken parmesan with angel hair pasta and my wife ordered the veal parmesan. The portion size was good and the pasta was cooked Al dente the way it should be! The sauce was delicious and the food, decor and service rivalled any restaurant we have been to in Boston's Italian North End. We ended our dinner with a piece of their well known canoli cake which was quite a large slice as well as a huge piece of tiramisu. To die for! All fresh and delicious! Everything was perfect from the food to the service. We frequent many places in North Conway but this place is special. *Note: it can get VERY busy and busy quickly. It opened at 4:30, we got there at 4:15 and there was already a line outside the door . There have been night's where waits were 2+ hours.. well worth it but get their early if you don't want the long waits. I would say this is a must visit of all the places that we have dined at in the north Conway area. Even good Italian food is hard to come by but this is much much better than good!!! EDIT: NOVEMBER 2023. SINCE MY LAST VISIT MY CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE CHANGED AND SO HAS MY FEELING ABOUT THIS PLACE. MY UPDATED REVIEW IS AS FOLLOWS..... Being handicapped it is hard enough for me to get around let alone go out to dinner. Most meals that I have to get are take out orders. This brings me to this place that I used to adore. I'm unable to eat out and now they charge a 15% surcharge for takeout orders. Thanks Vito, thanks for hurting people that a handicapped or can't have access to dining out. Thanks for hurting me in the wallet that already gets hurt. This will be my last meal here as I can't afford to be charged 15% on every meal that I get taken out as I'm on a fixed income. You used to be a big deal for me but not anymore. Maybe you forgot how you got here or maybe you forgot about people not as fortunate as yourself. However to charge someone 15% more for their meal because it's take out is to me discriminatory. Being unable to sit in a restaurant and eat should not make me be forced to pay 15% more for my food. What a shame This is what the world has come to.

High end Italian restaurant. Not sure the food justified the price. It was good but ok. Reservations are a must. They take your credit card to make a reservation and bill you $25 each if you don’t show up never experienced that before. I suppose there are classless people or inconsiderate people that don’t call if things change. We sat in the bar as we have before expecting an adult experience. Right after we ordered they seat a large party with two infants right next to us. They were kind of whiny but not too bad but not what we expected. Waitress was extremely pleasant and helpful and intuitive when to help though she seemed to be busy. Really excellent service. We’ve eaten here before and the food met our expectations. Enough to take some home. Tiramisu for dessert was very good and without a doubt the largest portion I’ve ever seen for the money. Definitely enough to share. Overall pretty good. Had bolagnase on the lasagna. I’d probably go w marinara next time as it overpowers the sauce in lasagna. The chicken parmigiana was very good also. I know just your basic Italian food but it’s all we felt like ordering that night. They have a broad selection.

My wife and I went here this past Saturday. What a great place to grab a meal. We hesitated after reading several negative reviews but the front desk staff over at the nearby Marriott sold us on going anyways. Boy am I glad they did. Was a great meal and we did not experience any of the issues others have mentioned. Let me start off by saying don't bother to call for reservations. Plan you visit. Stop in, give them your name and cell number and they will text you when your table is ready. Go for a short walk and check out some of the local shops nearby. We skipped lunch that day so we targeted 5PM to get our name in. Within 45 min we were sitting at our table. Brittany was our server and she was great. Food was amazing. I always like to get my pasta on the side with roasted garlic and olive oil which they did a great job on. I couldn't stop eating it was so good. We finished it off with a Tiramisu to go, so sorry, no picture on that one. We will definitely add this place to our list of required stops.

This is a must-visit every time we go to North Conway. It's easy to make reservations online with Open Table (through their website) and it really helps to make sure you aren't stuck waiting in a parking lot for an hour with your family before the staff are ready to seat you. We had the nicest servers and there was never a time my cup went even half empty... The food came out fast and was topped with fresh grated pepper and cheese. We started with the yummiest bread with an oil-cheese-vinigrette (we think) mix that was so delightful (on the house, thanks Vito) and ordered the ravioli starter which was excellent 👌. For entrees, we ordered chicken parm alla vodka and eggplant parm. The eggplant parm was somehow larger than the the meat version of the entre- both were enormous, and both came with a side salad that we didn't know about! I couldn't finish mine so I have dinner for tomorrow AND we grabbed a piece of cannoli cake for tomorrow too... It's big enough for two or three people to share! I love this place!!!
