All last year, 2024, I went through cancer surgery and extensive treatments which, like many, left me with no hair. It was not an easy year and thankfully, I am okay now! Andrea, the owner of Root Cellar, is always wonderful and once my hair began to grow back in crazy fashion, Andrea took the time to work with me on how to work with it as it grew - it was a process! In April, I was finally ready for a pixie cut (the only cut possible for such short hair) and Andrea did an amazing job, as always. I have an actual hair style now after having nothing for over a year - her kindness is amazing and the work she does is wonderful.

Also, Aly, one of the makeup artists at Root Cellar, did makeup for me because I really wanted a beauty day after such a challenging year. She knew precisely the right colors for my face and the right makeup for my skin. Aly is super knowledgeable and explained every step of what she was doing. Aly put together a bag of all the makeup she used on me so I could have it with me.

Both Andrea and Aly, made my "beauty day" truly amazing and lifted my spirits so much - I can't thank these two beautiful ladies enough!

Beyond happy with what The Root Cellar did for myself and the bridal party on my wedding day. They were so friendly to work with and really proved how talented they were by transforming all of us into stunning ladies. Some of the bridal party did not have a "vision" on what they wanted, so Darlene and Tracy took charge and worked their magic. Since I don't usually wear too much makeup other than mascara, my husband was afraid I wouldn't look like "me" after having foundation and more makeup than usual applied, but he was beyond impressed what they did and that I still looked like myself. I am so happy with what their team did and could not recommend the Root Cellar enough! I have never felt more beautiful than I did that day. Best services in the valley. The hairdressers are all very well trained and know their stuff. I have split dyed hair that requires 2 hours to process, and this is the only place that does it right. My hair is healthy and soft afterward, even after lightening. Aveda products are amazing, but others are also offered and they are also great. I'm a bit biased because the owner is my sister in law, but she obviously is good because who else would put up with a 2 hour double dye job that has to be redone every 6 weeks? Nobody.
