Stopped to grab my family dinner at this location after a late event downtown. I had ordered 3 kids meals and 2 combos after a struggle with the cashier paying attention. We had to pull up and wait and noticed they forgot one kids meal. The cashier comes BACK out with a receipt saying we were never charged for it. So I drive around back through the drive-thru and ask to speak with manager by the name of "Darien" and he said he can charge us for the third meal. They claimed that they could not hear that part because they were talking on the headset...We told them that is not our fault and we had repeated the order 3 times to the cashier. He said he can't just give it to us, as if we're trying to scam a $4 meal. I said thats fine we'll just call corporate and the store owner. Darien proceeds to shout profanities out of the drive-thru at my family who are minors as we drive away. This is beyond inappropriate and i've never experienced worse service at a fast food restaurant. And YES Tough guy Darien, I will be back and will be calling own GM and corporate office to report this behavior that upset young children. He has no business working in customer service or food industry and needs to re-trained If he wants to be a Manager. And by reading reviews i've confirmed I was right all along...
Read moreI just had a horrible, humiliating experience at Wendy's Restaurant on 508 S. Chickasaw Trail. , a restaurant I've frequented since 1999 when I moved in this area. Today I was basically accused of fraudulently trying to receive more money than I was due when I noticed my change was incorrect. I gave $20 for a meal that cost $7.85 and received $7.85 as change instead of $12.15. I immediately informed the attendant and asked for the correct amount .The manager Ashley was rude. Even after the window attendant confirmed, I gave her the $20 the manager Ashley told me " We GAVE you the correct change of $12.15. She then produced a receipt DIFFERENT from the one I had in my possession. I showed her my receipt and she still was in denial! Ashley the manager then informed me the cash register was showing correct funds indicating to me that I was not telling the truth. I believe her statement to be a LIE because I was holding incorrect change of $7.85 in my hands. Iwas very frustrated and did not move my car from drive in until she handed me $5.00 (.70 over I discovered later) Wendy's manager was clearly upset and still did not apologize for the mistake! I wil return the.70 tomorrow when the Gen manager is there when I complain in person! Still upset that I had to go through this...
Read moreTerrible experience at night man at speaker literally dismissed me no service no payment accepted either was upset because I asked why I am always being told I can't have something a certain way. His response was they aren't supposed to be doing that, which sandwich do you want? So I customized the sandwich into the one I was asking for. I felt he was frustrated I thanked him for his patience with me and I read my total aloud and went to the window where I was dismissed with the window being shut in my face... I drove around again stated I didn't understand what happened may I please have nuggets for my 6yr old just forget the rest.. nothing no response. I stated I didn't want to hold up the line I was getting upset because I was not rude and only wanted nuggets at this point, no response. I went around behind the cars behind me and the first one waited proceeded to the window, no response. The second car waited I responded out the window I do not think they are serving anyone right now, not sure but I went around to leave and the man not taking orders was yelling out the window at this point that he would kill them I am appalled at this experience I and my son had all of this was unnecessary I understand stress of short staff but these actions NEED TO...
