Waffle House — Restaurant in Conyers

My family and I have been coming to this Waffle House of over a decade and the quality in their food and service has dropped significantly. This has been the worst experience that I have ever had with this location. I tried to call in an order, just to be notified that they no longer did mobile orders through the phone. I decided to go there a place my order. Once I arrived, I was met with a sign that introduced new fees for people who order out. My order was originally $35.25. With taxes, my total order would be $37.25. However, the price of my order totaled at $41.31. There was a service charge and to go fee of $3.53 each. This was most likely a new policy added during quarantine when stores were closed worldwide. As that time is no longer, I feel that there is no need for it to still be in existence as patrons are now allowed to dine in as they please. The price of the food was not the only problem. There were multiple errors in my to go order. I had two sandwiches that were supposed to have bacon on them and to no one’s surprise, there was no bacon on either of the sandwiches. One of the sandwiches was also not supposed to have onions on them and there were still onions on it. This is truly not the way restaurant should function. We refer to Waffle House as 'Awful House'. And this location did not disappoint. The server was polite and courteous. No wait for a table or for my order to be taken. The young lady delivered my beverage and was off to another customer. The other customer ordered. Within 10 minutes she was served and a couple entered. The server picked up a broom and swept under the table. Now, she takes their order and retrieves flatware, places them on the table. The server relays the couple's order to the Chef. I continue to wait, watching orders being prepared. We're at about 30 minutes pass my order being taken. I prepare to leave. The server picks up a plate from the prep area and sets it in front of me. WHAT!! The omelet is cool to touch, shriveled and brown with black grill lines! Hashbrowns range from dark brown to darker brown with burnt grill sediments mixed in. I advised the young lady, this is cold, looks disgusting and you did not wash your hands after handling the broom and dust pan. She offered to have the meal...

OK so I really want to give this a one star but because of covid only. I don’t know if they change the cooks but the burgers or overly salty and I’ve ordered five of them for our household and they were all so salty you could barely eat it. Two days later ordered trouble different things not burgers and the hashbrowns were soggy and the toast was burnt and not buttered. I like this restaurant I just think of it has been giving them a hard time so please check your food if you have a to go order before you leave. In the last 2 to 3 months I’ve ordered I guess about six times and every time it’s not been right the waffles how could you go wrong well let me tell you they sprinkled three or four peanut butter chips on top of it but charge me full price for it I ordered a peanut butter waffle.
