Update 4/11/25: Yo! Why my rice was crunchy? You can't make this up! I keep trying to give this location the benefit of the doubt. I'm going to keep doubting this store will not get better and eventually something else will be here. Ordered a Adobo chicken down with white rice, and my brother had streak & adobi chicken with seasoned rice. He said his order was okay. I noticed they shallowed the bowl, but made it wider so it appears to be a regular portion. The manager had to help out the line employees. But , that is the team work mentality. Kudos to the manager. Other than hard rice the other topping was okay. I will see if they make it right by redeeming themselves. If not I will deem this store a total loss and continuously let all know to avoid this store like the plague!
Original Post 2/2024: Wow. I rarely come to Moe's. Chipotle is my go to because they have better service. I should've known this was going to be bad when no one said "Welcome to Moe's ". The young lady acted as if she didn't want to serve. I don't expect service with a smile, but I don't want to be treated as I'm an annoyance. I'm the only one in the restaurant at 11am beating the lunch rush. She acted funny when I asked for queso. Moe's is known for their Queso and Ms Lady was being hellas stingy. C'mon ma'am, hook me up with the Queso. They use the smallest scoops to add items into the burrito bowl. The dark meat chicken is dry. I recommend getting a drink. The rice, corn, sauteed onions with peppers, and queso was the saving grace for this review. They quadruple charged me for queso when all I assked was for a smidget more of queso. CHIPOTLE is the BETTER option for a reason. Dayamn Moe's, today was not your day today. I will revisit in 2024. Hopefully the Conyers Ga-20 Location get it...
Read moreFirst of all let me say that I love Moe's! But the Moe's on Conyers in my personal experience has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. Seriously! I live 10inutes away from this Moe's but I will drive over half an hour just to get good customer service. So what happened? Today the greatest Mexican Holiday ever I took a chance and went to Moe's in Conyers I should have left when they did not open as scheduled. There were five of us waiting to get our hands on the $5.55 special and of course that awesome Moe's T-shirt. Anyway we waited we went to the door and looked in hoping that someone would just acknowledge our presence. But no one did after about 15 minutes after the time to open passed now there are only 4 of us because someone didn't want to wait anymore. Finally after standing outside waiting for over 15 minutes she open the door to let those of us who remained in the restaurant. She never apologized for the late opening. I personally asked who is the manager? She replied that she was. I then asked why didn't you come out to let us know that you were opening late. She only replied well I had to do this and that but never said that it was her bad!. Anyway trying to savage the moment I asked are you guys offering the $5.55 special? She said no. I then asked are you giving out T-shirts? She said no that they didn't have them but the workers the 2 that were there and herself had on the Moe's shirts. Therefore I rest my case. My party and I left and went to another location. This Moe's in Conyers has very poor customer...
Read moreI'm a huge Moe's fan. This Moe's, however, is probably their worst store I've been to. I've gone at least 7 times in the last year and this time was the worst. First, the health rating is down to an 80 which is never a good sign. Second, their grills are nasty. Ever time they heated my tortilla there were burnt bits on it which will ruin the flavor of anything when you bite into it. The cook told me that no matter where he cooked it (on the press or grill) it will be like that. That's the only Moe's in the world that had that issue. The solution would be to have a clean press and grill. Then, after he barely pressed it (still with burn bits) he started my meal which included grilled onions and peppers that were still cold and hard and chicken that had an extremely strong lime taste. The cilantro was yellowing and wilted and their jalapeño was wrinkled. I took 2 bites of my burrito and threw it away because all I could taste was lime. That alone would be 3 stars but the time before that they had a cook that was extremely obnoxious (he had a "I'm secretly an actor but I want people to know" vibe) and would repeat the same joke to every customer. The line was long that day and any time someone didn't chuckle at a joke he would stare at them until they smiled. I stopped going to avoid him until this last trip. This trip wasn't...
