Hardee’s — Restaurant in Cookeville

I have to say I extremely disappointed with the experience I had today from the lunch menu. I have been to this location (S. Jefferson in Cookeville, Tn) for the breakfast menu several times, never had a complaint. We decided to try the new primal burger and the entire experience has been horrible. So we had 2 primal burgers, regular burger and fries with a order of onion rings on the side. What to start with.......... The onion rings they put on the burger were so hard I couldn't even bite through it. The fries were so soggy the bag they were in was saturated in oil. Almost like the oil wasnt hot and they just sat in it forever. When I called and talked to the manager of the store all she had to tell me every time I mentioned something was we just dropped them so I know they were fresh but in the same conversation said they sat on the warmer for awhile before being put on the burger. Never once did she offer to make it right !!!! Apologized, but told me she knew it was good. How can it be good when YOUR customer has told you it was horrible ?? Tried to charge me 46 dollars and when asked why the heck it was that high realized she charged an extra burger... Now, seems to me the whole thing was a joke ..After the price was corrected it was 27 dollars for a meal except for the original burger was all thrown in the trash....that's how bad it was !!!!!!...

(location south jefferson) Someone needs to update the website in a bad way. If you look online it states lunch starts at 1030am that is a lie. I live a block from this location so I walk. I get at this store at 10:38am and I'm told not till 11am. I spoke with manager. He has complained to then about the online times as well and no one will change it. They close at 8pm and lunch starts at 11am. Update: I finally get my food I get home and start eating it the meat taste like it was freezer burnt. I have honestly never had a worst tasting hamburger in my life. I bought homeless man a meal as well I hope his tastes better than mine. This is absolutely disgusting. I now know why they have to close at 8 every night even on weekends. If they are serving food like this to others no wonder no one comes in in the afternoon. I almost guarantee the only reason they have business during the day is the elderly men that come in for breakfast and those that work in the middle of town and this is the closest fast food restaurant. Honestly I Won't Go Back if I worked in town I would definitely Drive the few extra minutes to...

Super annoying when you try to call this location and literally no one answers the phone! And I’m giving three stars bc I enjoy the food when it is done correctly and most of the time it is. This morning I ordered a bacon egg cheese biscuit. Wrapper is right and labeled so when I looked when I left town I thought I had the right food. When I get home and open it up to eat.. it’s a sausage cheese and fried egg. I don’t care for sausage.. that’s just not what I ordered. And the fact I can’t even call them to tell them they should pay better attention to what they are doing is even more frustrating. Now I’m 20 minutes out of town and now I don’t have the breakfast i paid for. I am on the road all day everyday and I eat here most mornings. You should absolutely get what you pay for. Whether it’s $1 or a million dollars. Pay attention! People have certain diets and allergies.. answer the phone so people can try to help out without having to...
