They are better than they were a year ago. I'm glad. I really enjoy their food.
3rd update: Did they change the breading on the nuggets??? They're awful now. Yuck. They were so good before. I'm really hoping I just got a bad batch... Because otherwise I won't be coming here anymore. I am literally about to cry, they were my favorite. There is no other reason I come here.
2nd update: So they seem to have improved a little. We used their mobile app to order. It went pretty smooth. They upgraded our drinks on accident and forgot our cookie, but the hot food was accurate and much quicker then previous visits. Staff was friendly.
Original post: If I didn't love the food so much I would never come here. This is The slowest Wendy's on the planet. Also one time we paid for a triple baconator and got a double. But they are always slow. I just spent 45 minutes in the drive through. Ugg. If you want FAST food don't come here.
Update: so they have gotten faster and the staff was very friendly BUT, this is at least the second time now in a row that I ordered regular nuggets and they must not have had enough, so they put in a few spicy ones instead of making more. So.. so.. infuriating. This time I was sharing them with my 1 year old daughter. They made her mouth turn red/irritated before I even realized. Downgrading to 2 stars. Read moreAs I was on the road to the Walmart, I saw the Wendy's and realized I was a bit hungry. So I pull in to get a quick bite and pull up to the speaker. The first thing I noticed, is the employees tone of voice. He seems to not really care about his job or my order. I ask what came on the asiago chicken and his voice was very slurred, and just said them as if he was reading it off a card. I went ahead and ordered that and a sandwich for my fiance. I pull up to the first window and it says to go to the next. I look ahead and it looks as if there were 2 more windows. I pull up to the next one and hand the guy my credit card and ask if that was a third window and hes just like "No." No emotion in his voice or care about my question. He hands me the drink with no straw and then a minute later, my order(which had the straw in it). I pull away, assuming it was right and open my sandwich and took a bite. It was incredibly dry, I didn't taste any spice or ranch or cheese. I tasted mayo. I looked at it and realized it wasn't anything that I had ordered. I just decided to deal with it in order to not have to make another trip.
This place has terrible customer service and should be avoided at all costs. It's not worth the price of the food. Read moreIt's Wendy's, fast food expectations..... Except for RYAN at the window. This hard working young man deserves a raise and or should be working across the street at Chick Fil A. Ryan is great at his job and holds down the drive thru and is so polite!
However this location is desperately short staffed. I mean they only had 3 staff members working on my last visit on a Saturday night- only 3 people and a line of 15 cars. While it took abt 30 minutes to wait in line and get my turn to order and pick up my food ( yes 1 order at a time). Ryan was so polite while I was ordering and explaining the delay was due to staffing but not once discouraged me from ordering.
I didn't know Ryan the first time I stopped by. I remember being taken back on my way home, like dang, those young men were working so hard together to get all those orders prepared and keep people's wait time down. I thought I should post a Google review abt how great they were, but didn't have name. .... Fast forward abt 3 weeks and I went to Wendy's again and that's the review above and RYAN was working again and I was able to get his name.
I will continue to go to this location despite there being 2 or 3 Wendy's within similar distance. Ryan needs a raise and to be part of the training process because his customer service skills and positive attitude...
