I stumbled upon 107 Taste Coral Gables while exploring the area, and wow, what a find! This cozy little spot on Alcazar Ave has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in Miami. If you’re into Asian fusion with bold flavors and a welcoming vibe, this is a must-visit.

First off, the atmosphere is perfect—cute and warm without being over-the-top. The interior has these fun touches like a mural on the wall and a neon cat light that really set the mood. It’s small but thoughtfully designed, making it ideal for a casual date night or a chill meal with friends. The music was a nice mix of Asian-inspired tracks that added to the experience without being distracting.

The food? Absolutely delicious. I started with the pork gyoza, and they were some of the best I’ve had—crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside, with just the right amount of meat and veggies. The dipping sauce was a perfect complement. Then I tried the tteokbokki with tofu, and it was a total standout—the cylindrical rice cakes were smothered in this rich, slightly spicy sauce, and the tofu soaked up all that goodness. For my main, I went with the Black Pepper Yaki Udon with chicken and shrimp. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the black pepper gave it this subtle kick that paired so well with the tender chicken and plump shrimp. Portion sizes are generous too—I ended up taking some home for later!

The service was top-notch. Our server (I think her name was Christina) was super friendly and attentive, making sure our drinks stayed full and checking in just enough without hovering. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about making your experience great. Oh, and the prices are super reasonable for Coral Gables—everything felt like a steal for the quality you’re getting.

I also grabbed a slice of their Coconut Crepe Cake to-go, and it was the perfect sweet ending—light, creamy, and not overly sugary. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try more of the menu, like the Tonkotsu Ramen and maybe something from their dessert lineup again. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, 107 Taste is a gem worth checking out....

One of THE worst places we've ever been! I get better service at McDonald's drive thru! We(couple A) went in during a thunderstorm weather hoping to get away from the rain and get some warm food. As we walked in the place was fairly packed. Nobody greeted us so we went up to the counter, no problem it's busy I understand. The cashier/waiter(waiter A) finished cashing out a customer. Did not acknowledge us, didn't even say hi, walked off and attended other tables. So we're standing there for about 10 minutes. Another couple(couple B) walked in and were greeted and shown to the table by a waiter(waiter B) within minutes. So we decided to grab a menu and seated ourselves. Mind you, I(dad) have a baby strapped on me and wet, with my wife who is also soaked. Another 5-10 minutes passed still no acknowledgement from any staff members. Waiter A came and cashed out the table beside us. Once they left he came back and busted the table. Then went and refilled water on the other table. Completely ignoring us. Waiter B already got couple B something to drink and put in their order...even though they came AFTER us! Out of frustration, we order food from a different restaurant while sitting in their restaurant. We have been in the restaurant for about 30 min with no interaction from staff. Not even water was served. Maybe they hated babies? Or hated biracial couples? I don't know. 10/10 would NOT...

My wife and I often come to 107 Taste for lunch and usually enjoy the experience. The menu is diverse, offering flavors from across Asia — Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and more. The food has always been fresh and tasty, and the service attentive. Today was no exception during the meal — everything was excellent and we truly appreciated the care and attention.

Unfortunately, the experience took a disappointing turn when it came time to pay. We paid in cash, and my wife expected to receive the change first in order to decide on the tip amount herself. Instead, the server assumed the remaining change was the tip, which amounted to well over 30%. When my wife asked for the change, the server replied, “That’s our tip.” She even walked away when my wife explained she wanted to leave her own tip.

To be clear, we did leave a tip, since we value and respect the work of the entire team at the restaurant. The issue was not about leaving a gratuity, but about being denied the choice and treated dismissively. A simple acknowledgment like, “Sorry, I misunderstood, here’s your change,” would have avoided the entire situation.
