Fogare — Restaurant in Coral Gables

We had such a lovely dinner at Fogare. The restaurant is new, but they’re already doing everything right. We started with the hamachi appetizer, which was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. For our mains, the risotto and the sea bass were both delicious, rich in flavor without being heavy. And do not leave without ordering the flambé crepes for dessert. They’re a show and an experience all in one, and absolutely worth it.

Desde el momento en que llegamos, supe que este lugar iba a ser especial. Empezando por el valet parking comodísimo y muy eficiente ya te da la sensación de que te espera una experiencia cuidada en cada detalle.

El restaurante es precioso. La decoración tiene ese equilibrio perfecto entre elegancia y calidez, con un ambiente que invita a quedarte horas disfrutando. La atención del señor Joel fue simplemente impecable: conoce el menú al detalle, y sus recomendaciones fueron tan acertadas que terminamos encantados con cada plato.

De entrada probamos unos dátiles con bacon que estaban fuera de serie una combinación espectacular de sabor, y ese toque delicioso del bacon que los hace irresistibles. El pan de la casa, recién salido del horno, fue una delicia tan suave y sabroso que da ganas de pedir más.

Mi plato principal fue una lasaña espectacular, cremosa y perfectamente balanceada. Mi esposo pidió un ribeye con risotto, cocinado a la perfección, jugoso y lleno de sabor. Cada bocado fue un acierto total.

Para cerrar, pedimos un postre con queso de cabra que fue una verdadera sorpresa delicioso, con ese toque especial que te deja con ganas de volver solo por él.

En resumen: Fogare! me fascinó. Es un restaurante elegante, con una atención de primera, platos espectaculares y un ambiente que se siente acogedor y sofisticado a la vez. Sin duda volveré muy pronto y lo recomiendo con los ojos cerrados.

First time at Fogare, and I honestly don’t know where to start! The entire experience was amazing — from the service and food to the attention from our waitress. OMG, the food! I tried the New York lasagna, and it was absolutely delicious. For dessert, I had the crème brûlée — so good! I’d easily give them a 10+.
