CHECK YOUR BILL....We are interested in any local eatery so we came with high expectations on a Saturday night but we left feeling ripped off and disrespected. Entering the restaurant was odd as there is no waiting area or host station so we stood by people eating and waited a few minutes until I asked a waiter for help...it was quite awkward. The host finally came and sat us down.. it seemed like they were shorthanded. The waiter came to take our order and we asked to order drinks. I ordered a Moscow Mule and my wife a Cosmopolitan . The waiter asked if Tito's Vodka was fine and we both said yes.... for an appetizer we shared the burrato with prosciutto for $29.00 for dinner we shared the Dover Sole for 2 which was $120...by the time dinner was finished I had 2 more drinks and my wife 1 more drink..so I asked for the bill and it was over $342.00..I never question a bill but I never get a bill for the 2 of us for that much...We shared an appetizer shared The Dover and had 5 drinks for 342!! .I looked at the bill and we were charged for 6 drinks which I told the host/owner about and he questioned me but the waiter confirmed we only had 5 WTH...then I noticed a $5.00 upgrade for Tito's Vodka for the Cosmopolitan..I questioned the host about Tito's actually being an upgrade and how was it that my wife was charged the upgrade for Tito's and I wasn't...he had no reply and just mumbled something as he walked away..so they corrected the bill to $312.00...the Cosmopolitan was $30.00...Honestly it's a rip off..The food was alright..nothing spectacular..my Moscow Mule was $25.00 because they didn't charge the upgrade...ridiculous ..it's not even on the "Mile"...There are so many great restaurants in the Gables unfortunately this isn't one of them.....not too smart to lose a local diner over a $5.00 Tito...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Tullio, and it was an experience I won't soon forget! We recently had our honeymoon in Venice, Italy and wanted to try a spot that would remind us of some moments. This Venetian restaurant carries on a legacy with an exquisite focus on Mediterranean seafood served tableside. As true Venetians, the ambiance here immerses you in a European dream, surrounded by stunning artwork and captivating photos of Italy.
From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in a warm, inviting environment adorned with white tablecloths, fresh flowers, silver cutlery, and the finest china. The elegant setup, complete with a variety of wine glassware, sets the stage for an extraordinary culinary journey. Situated just steps from Miracle Mile in the heart of Coral Gables, Tullio offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Underneath the arches of 2525 Ponce de Leon.
The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the food, crafted with the freshest ingredients and remarkable skill. We indulged in the special pasta of the day—homemade pappardelle with mushrooms, which was a sublime blend of flavors and textures. The filet mignon, accompanied by perfectly seasoned mashed potatoes and mushrooms, was cooked to perfection. To top it all off, the in-house hazelnut ice cream was a delightful finale to an unforgettable meal.
Tullio is a true gem in Coral Gables, embodying class, elegance, and culinary artistry. The friendly and attentive service, paired with a thoughtfully curated Italian-forward wine list, makes every visit a special occasion. Whether you're looking to savor a piece of Italy or simply enjoy a top-tier dining experience, Tullio is the place to be. Highly...

The service was exquisite, we even got to hear the specials in Italian. Thank you Roger!
Roger’s wine expertise was very impressive not the regular sommelier. He was charming and made amazing suggestions!
The Super Tuscan was superb! And just as described, served chilled at the perfect temperature.
We were three and we all decided to try something different for our Antipasti and main course. Of course, I snuck a taste from everyone’s dish 😋
Antipasti- Tomato Salad- fresh and juicy with a nice flavor. (I am not a tomato fan) Arugula Salad- Had a beautiful orange vinaigrette which played nicely with the bitter of the arugula. Soup of the day - Potato-Leek was light and very delicate and served hot -as it should be!
Mains- Penne Puttanesca - One of the best I have had (not my dish but it was delish!) Chicken Paillard- great healthy option cooked to perfection- great for those looking for a healthy high protein option. The portion was great and it was juicy!
Dessert- We all decided to go for the tiramisu which was creamy with the right amount of mascarpone and expresso!
All in all an amazing meal! Can’t wait to go back for dinner and try more of their dishes!
Service- impecable! Like I said before total...
