I wish I can give negative 5 stars. I have been coming here for 20 years. I came in with my 2 year old daughter for dinner. Ordered the sushi boat for 2 for myself and ordered my daughter a chicken roll and noodles. Long story short when t came time to pay the bill was $178.00. Needless to say my jaw dropped. It clearly stated on the menu it was $41 and change for what I ordered. When I asked the manager what this was all about she gave me some insane explanation that they charge per person? I tried explain her that I'm 1 person. She proceeded to just scream at me in front of my 2 year old and tell me I can't read. Being that I have been coming here for so long I could not believe what was happening. I decided to just give my credit card and dispute it with the credit card company. Be VERY aware of your bill. They will nickel and dime you every way possible. They will charge you for extra ice (which is fine, but at least tell me). The bill is handwritten so you have no idea how to decode it. *keep in mind if you order a specialty fish, such a toro, hamachi belly etc.. you will receive regular tuna and regular hamachi. They scam you. It's quite intriguing. I might also add that this used to be a really good sushi restaurant. I would go as far to say it's quite terrible. The owner is a psychopath. There are far better places to eat sushi. Don't eat here don't support this...

The service was deadly slow tonight. The waitress didn't ask if we wanted to sit in the cute little rooms with the privacy doors where we wanted to sit so instead we were seated in front of tv's showing Bones with gross dead bodies while we tried to eat. My daughter usually gets her rice at the same time as the soup but it was brought with the meal so she was very unhappy. Most of the sushi rolls were bland. We only liked one, the golden jb roll. We wanted to order another golden jb roll but the waitress waited so long to check on us we were afraid we'd be there at least another hour waiting on it so we decided not to order it. I had a miserable time and couldn't wait to leave. My kids usually love this place but even they were all unhappy with it tonight. I haven't been that big a fan since a different waitress got peevish that we didn't ask for separate checks when we first walked in the door. And my tempura on the last visit was not good at all. I like the sushi much better down the street at the mall for less than half the price here. I don't know that I would go back next time my kids want to go...if they even...

The atmosphere of the set up is great~ feels like you were instantly transported to a small restaurant in NYC's Chinatown, which also has Japanese restaurants.

The booths have sliding doors on them to create instant privacy, which I thought was amazing. Makes it easier to have a private conversation.

The staff greets you and our waitress was very nice. She was so quiet in bringing our stuff that it felt like our waters just appeared out of thin air.

The meal itself was great. Amazing flavor and the sushi was very fresh tasting. The shumai (shrimp dumplings) were delicious and the sauce was a great compliment in flavor. My mom and sister were with me, my mother had the Bull Dog roll and another roll I can't quite remember the name, but it had crispy tempura around it. It was very good and the names were cute to give a Florida touch. Mostly referring to the colleges in or near Florida.

My sister had one of the Bento lunches and that had quite a bit of food on it. She also enjoyed her meal very much.

I definitely will say this is a new favorite spot for me~ thank you very much...

Sakura is hands down the best sushi spot I’ve ever been to, and I find myself coming back at least three times a month (maybe more 😂) because once just isn’t enough! The sushi is unbelievably fresh, expertly crafted, and bursting with flavor. The variety is outstanding, with something to satisfy every craving, from classic favorites to creative specialty rolls that never disappoint. Beyond the food, what truly sets Sakura apart is the experience. The service is impeccable, warm, welcoming, and attentive in a way that makes you feel like family. The cozy ambiance adds to the charm, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing and delicious meal. As a small business, they put so much heart into everything they do, and it shows. If you’re a sushi lover (or even just sushi-curious), do yourself a favor and visit Sakura. It’s not just a meal…. it’s an experience you’ll want to relive again and again!

The staff seems friendly and the appetizers are ok but the fish is horrid. It tasted like rubber and cleaning solution. None of it was fresh. Maybe days old? They also over charged us. The sushi regular is $19.98 check the menu. We were charged 29.95. I asked for a spicy tuna roll which the waitress said was an extra $3 not $10! The stir fry chicken was a 6oz brest covered in onions. There was maybe one broccoli and all carrots. Not worth $25 We had 2 appetizers that added up to another $20 and they were sub par Publix has better sushi than this and not by much. I took some home because I just felt bad saying anything but look at that. This was supposed to be a spicy tuna roll and tuna sushi and it looks like plastic and mush. The tuna roll wasn't even spicy. It has this nasty sweet after taste. Just pure yuck. For $100 we expected way better quality.

After multiple recommendations from FB groups stating that this establishment has the best sushi in CS we decided to finally try it out on a Friday. When we arrived, they were pretty busy and we had to wait about 5-10 mins for a table. The lady at the front was really nice, and from the interactions I had heard with other customers, she treats everyone like family( knew all her customers and regulars). We ordered the shumai dumplings as appetizers which was a big let down. I feel like you should tell your customers if it’s an item that is straight from a package and is microwaveable, I was expecting handmade/fresh shumai. Next we had the volcano roll, tl roll and the roscoe roll. All the rolls were average at best. There was more rice than actual filling. I liked the vibe of the place and the friendly people. We may or may not give a try again.
