ā¼ļøUpdate 6/3/2025: So I was in the area and headed to Jersey Mike's which is next door to this establishment. As I passed Gyroville I noticed a sign that said "New Management" - I battled with the decision and opted to give it another chance. As soon as I walked in I asked "When did the establishment assume new management?" The gentleman at the register said in October. Which put me at ease since I was the last time I was there was sometime in September. (1 month before they went under new management) - I updated my rating because upon entry the customer service literally did a complete 180. I was greeted as soon as I walked. The gentleman helped me with explaining the menu options. I even had the chance to express a little on my first visit. Food was made fast. Honestly with the changes they made I would definitely go again. Updated from 2 stars to 5 stars.
Visited this place for the first time... I love gyros and truly love the concept. It was the first time I been somewhere that had the option of created a gyro bowl. I was quite amused.... When I arrived it was only one person dinning in. I walked up to the counter and the lady was prompt with greeting me... I started to look at the menu above her and looking at the options. I ordered the bowl with gyro, then took literally 1 min to look at my options trying to decide on my toppings and she got snippy, rushing me by saying all the options quickly as if I couldn't clearly see it... As a new customer this would have been the perfect time to possibly recommend what most customers get, or most popular... it seemed she was just bothered to have to stop what she was doing. I placed an online order at 8:25 for chicken pita. Received a confirmation text that my order will be ready for pick up between 8:50 - 8:55pm. I drove to the store, as I pulled up in front of the store I get a text message at 8:53pm telling me that my order cannot be fulfilled and that I will be issued a refund. š” I walk into the store at 8:56 thinking it's a mistake because why would I get such a text message at the time I am to pick up my order just to be dismissed by a young lady in the front telling me they don't have such order. I show her the text with the confirmation and she tells me they couldn't make my order because they are out of Pita and that they cancelled my order. I said you cancel my order 3 minutes after it was supposed to be "ready for pickup?". She said she didn't know and that I was going to be issued a refund. I said I wasn't inquiring about a refund - I'm inquiring about a complete disregard for the customers time, distance I drove to pick up and gas it took to get there! Why the late notification?? She rolled her eyes and told me there was nothing she can Do. I drove from Tamarac by the way.
This would have been my first time trying this place, but after this experience I doubt I wanna to take a chance Driving to this place just to be notified that my order is cancelled at the time of ON TIME PICK UP time they provided.

I would like to say that I am truly offended and felt disrespected by the laziness and truly unprofessional attitude of the two ladies that were working tonight on 1/2/2021. I arrived at about 8:30pm with my wife and son. As we entered the premises we were given nasty looks that I took as āwhy are you coming this late when weāre about to close at 9:00pm?ā I placed our orders which came out to $31.00 and I pulled out a $50 bill to pay. One of the ladies said āhold on for a momentā and went to converse with the other associate. They both came back to the front counter and one of them told me that they donāt have change for a $50 dollar bill. I looked down at the register and said āreally, you donāt have $19 in change?ā They whispered something amongst themselves and then the other one said āoh no, we canāt accept a $50 bill.ā At this point I felt very annoyed and frustrated. I really loved the food here the first time I went, and me and my family were looking forward to it. I started to question if they were acting like this towards me because Iām a black man. I feel very disappointed in the service that was presented to me and I would never bring my family to that establishment again as long as those two young ladies are...
