Michael is probably the laziest drivethru cashier I have probably met in my entire life. I've worked drivethru so I would know. And I've been in the fast food industry my whole life, still am. It took three people would only speak Haitian to figure out my needs when Michael (the only person fluent in english) was too scared to finish my order. I kindly pulled up to the drivethru today at around 5:45pm in a red jeep. Asking for a Dave's double combo with cheese fries and crispy chicken biggie bag, with two cookies, I was charged $26.01. A dave's double combo is about $12 dollars with the upcharge of cheese fries and a biggie bag about $6 dollars, with two cookies at around maybe $4 tops after tax my total order would have came to $22-23 at most, I go to wendys a lot so I know my stuff. When I got to the window and paid the $26 dollars I was handed the wrong receipt, possibly intentionally for the multiple screw ups, I believe I was charged for an extra cheese fries and instead of fixing it Michael insisted moving along. He gave me a receipt saying I only paid $7 dollars. I came inside and politely asked for the cookies and my receipt because I was given the wrong receipt, no one knows what happened to it or could translate it in English, except for Michael who refused to help, the sweet lady who helped me went ahead and gave me the cookies. I settled for that because I had already been waiting 20 mins, but I was overcharged 3 dollars and had part of my order forgotten all because Michael refused to assist the other workers and dropped my order for someone who couldn't speak english to pick it up and make mistakes. I'm sorry Michael but I get fast food sucks, customers suck, but I showed nothing but respect the entire time I was there and received none in return. Read moreThis used to be a good Wendy's. Whoever is running it now is RUNNING IT INTO THE GROUND! I refuse to ever go back to this Wendy's again. We were rushed through the ordering process. Is that it? No... is that it? No... pull forward for your total... um I wasn't finished! I would like a chili...we're out... diet coke... we're out. Antonio the rude person taking our order acted like we were inconveniencing him. He didn't get our order correct. He never says hello, thank you, please come again. He did however argue with his Co workers with the drive thru window open. They stuffed three meals into one bag which makes it impossible to check your order. Two dipping sauses even though I ordered a 10 pc and a 6 pc. Over priced fast food with terrible customer service... just not worth it. Skip this location and go to the one off wiles! Read moreI am a fan of Wendy's, which is difficult because so many of them in South Florida have surly and/or incompetent staff. However, I recently had occasion to be in Coral Springs and stopped at the Wendy's on Sample Road west of University Drive. The service was great! A friendly voice greeted me in the drive-through lane, took my order, and, miracle of miracles, got it right the first time.
I have complained before of the poor service at Wendy's in the area. It seems the very least I could do to acknowledge a Wendy's that has excellent service. Of course, that wouldn't matter if the food wasn't good. I am glad to say that my "Son of Baconator" (Mmm, bacon!) sandwich was perfect, as were the fries and small frosty.
To find a good fast food restaurant franchise in South Florida is a gift....
