This is the most mixed review/experience I have had in a while. First off the food. The Reubetons had no filling! Sounded great, but were a huge disappointment. The Shepherds Pie was ok, but nothing to write home about. no one came to check how the food was.
Second the service. While the person faked being friendly-ish, the service was slow, I mean sloooow. They weren’t that busy when I got there. They were doing a lot of standing and talking amongst themselves. I had to signal several times to get my check to pay. When they did finally come over, I handed them my credit card and the person rolled their eyes and walked away. I saw them slap the card down beside the terminal and then work on other things before checking me out.
Third thing it was so loud inside this place. With only a third of the tables taken up I could barely hear the person next to me talking. The crowd was definitely not my type of crowd. I...
Read moreSt. Patrick's Day 2025. I placed an online order at 10:20 a.m. it went through just fine. I show up at 11:14 a.m. Order was to be ready at 11:15. I told the gal at the bar I was there to pick up a take out order. She stomps to the kitchen and comes back and says it will be at least 20 minutes. We are not doing take out orders today and not sure how yours even went through. She just walked away and was somewhat rude. This is not my fault. I was not rude. One of the other waitresses was complaining the whole time. The cook even came out and was annoyed. Look, this is probably the busiest day of the year for you. You should expect this. Years ago when I did food service, the busier the better. More money and the time flew by. There are more people in there than normal and watching the staff complain the whole time is not a good impression. The only one with a smile on her face was Stormy. First time there,...
Read moreAn "Irish" restaurant that does not take the time or effort to properly serve a Guinness is a disgrace. The "jumbo" wings were just regular size, nothing special for the price. The fish fillets were small, but just okay. The fried chips side was literally colder than room temperature. The shepherds pie had a scoop of mashed potatoes in the middle rather than being properly done with a potato "crust" finished in the oven. The corned beef with gravy would be better in a sandwich. The flavor of the gravy totally over powers the flavor of the corned beef. The macaroni was okay though. The service was good. The waitress cannot be held accountable for the low quality of the food. Overall, not worth the price for a place that sells itself as an...
